Hello,

What's the best way to play this hand? I should have atleast closed on the turn when facing all-in, but is there a optimal play earlier?

I begin with pocket 8s.

* Table type: Sit & Go Turbo DYM 0.25£
* Number of players at the table: 6
* Blinds: 25/50

Thanks!

    Played perfectly, very unlucky to run into a better hand but I think you already know this.

    Hi

    Very unlucky with the run out there

    I’m not great at turbos but i think pre flop is either a shove or a fold
    Stacks are too shallow and we need very specific flops to make calling oop profitable

    Shoving pre flop here, sub 20bb to start the hand and there's a bit of dead money in the pot with the all in player who probs has close to any 2. Once you just call and flop a set there's no bad option (apart from folding)

    I fold pre flop here. Pushing pre i suppose is ok but calling is a poor decision.

    You're folding 88 for 19bb after a single raise?

    There’s a limp and a small iso and one player who all in for 50 will guarantee to see all cards for a chance at 225 of the pot when it comes back to you. Given the limp and the iso I’d lean to fold. Chips are really important in TDYM so you can’t afford to be too speculative with calling. Once you see the flop you’re all in.

    With the flat and the raise it's just a really easy rejam in a turbo. We are not waiting for a better spot in one levels time we have 8-9bb and this structure although it says turbo... make no mistake... its hyper.

    100% Jam pre is making you the most money and highest roi over a big sample
