Is this a fold ? - £33 main

Just busted the main, would be keen to get others thoughts on the below hand

Very early on so limited background but ultimately there had been ALOT of suspect hands at showdown already on the table.

Preflop: I decide to mix it up and just call here, table hadnt been as active as it turned out to be in this hand but based on the above wanted to try trap and let opponent barrel off

Flop: Happy with the board obviously, draw heavy so was going to raise likely if thee was a bet beforehand but decide to bet larger size considering how draw heavy this was.

When I get the shove I am pretty happy as what I do see early on in these tournaments is a lot of stacking off with top pair and also these types of shoves on draw heavy boards with just a pair. oping he has a K10,A10,Q10 or 2 spade type hand here

Shows two pair but question is was this call a little loose? if it was a freezeout I might fold but given how early we are and need for a stack in this main I still like the call

Also please dont just say 3 bet pre because I'm never doing that every time

You don't have to raise with JJ every time.

But when there is a min raise in front of you, and 4 people behind, you have to 3-bet. Every time. Unless (like here) you want to play JJ against 3 other players.

The call is ok-ish. But that shove looks super-strong after your bet, with 2 behind.

Looks fine to me, like how you've played it. Possibly folding if villain is a super nit but happy to bet/get it in against hijack under normal circumstances.

I don't mind flatting preflop. It strengthens your flatting range and means you can have hands that continue if someone 3bets behind. Jacks is certainly strong enough to 3bet for value. The problem with 3-betting from these positions is that vs a 4bet range on sky Jack's is pretty toast, your probably gonna be up against QQ+AK and some players would only ever 4-bet kings and aces. Jacks doesn't block AA KK QQ or AK so we are gonna face a 4bet more often than when we hold a hand like AQ.

Flatting Jacks does mean we need to navigate some tough spots post flop multi-way. I like your decision to bet flop, but when you get shoved on I think it's reasonably likely your going to be up against 2 pair + and strong draws. You also hold the Jack of spades which makes it even more likely he has a made hand as he can't have hands like QJss, AJss, J9ss. Some players might go all in with a hand like Ace Ten here, but from my experience playing mtt's most people just call. With your bet size some players might feel like they have to either go with a ten or fold though so it is tough. Maybe if you bet half pot instead you have an easier fold. I guess if you think the player can have a bare ten you have to call, if you don't it's an easy fold. Think you need to use your gut here.
