I feel like this was a very bad call on the turn. What do you think? I'm behind a lot of hands and realistically only beat flush draws, if they even take this line.

    I don't know opponent however I feel queasy in this situation, vs an unknown, on the turn, in an MTT :neutral:

    I was feeling queasy too and immediately I thought set or 2 pair when he shoved that many chips. After using up all my time, I called. I think it was a bad call but maybe I'm wrong.

    It’s a rough spot and usually a fold on Sky, but the fact you know that it’s a rough spot and should be a fold is a very good sign. These annoying hands happen, top pair v set won’t come around too often, and sometimes we have to go broke. Probably can get away here though ;D

    If carnage is in the hand, its a fold.

    @Allan23 thanks for the advice, I will usually fold these hands in future. I was close to folding here but called at the last moment lol.

    @mumsie why is that?

    This specific player has had enough money from me over the years, if she's in the pot, she has a large part of the board.

    Really tough spot. V.S some opponent's you can actually beat value bets. Think some might jam hands like AJ AT A8s thinking they're ahead. Some players will find bluffs here but maybe not that often. You do pretty much have the best hand you can ever have after checking the flop, I assume you just bet AQ and AK. You have to think all opponent's would 3bet preflop with AK and some would with AQ so reduces the hands that beats you a bit. If you know/ suspect opponent is tight then fold.

    I'm not sure if you're meant to get away from this in a tournament or not because people are tighter on average, but if this was a spin up cash game I would be going broke with your hand in the same spot. I might be going broke here in a tournament as well but maybe I'd be wrong to.

    Tough spot.
    I'm sure i have gone busto in that spot many times.

    But what are you beating here? A bluff. Possibly Khxh. Just about, a worse A.

    What are you losing to? 55, poss 99, A9, A5, poss 3h2h. Apart from those and a bluff, why would anyone bet so much?

    For this to be a profitable call, need to win about 35% of the time. For me, it is a clear fold.

    Agreed it's a fold, vs an unknown is this a crystal clear one?

    This is assuming Aerionz has no history or info on opposition.

    Mumsie has more info on opponent and given what she/he says it looks very much like a clear fold.

    Have I been talking in circles for 2 minutes here? :)
