In these spots, they always seem to have 1 pair beat. Should I fold on the flop? I did consider it.

What about turn?

River I don't think I beat anything so I folded.

    Hi @Aerionz

Call the flop, fold the turn, would be my thoughts.

From the flop play, the only real hand that you were ahead of is a flush draw which has also got there on the turn. (Unless villain is a maniac)

Also when posting these, so people aren't results orientated, it may be worth doing it up until the key decision, which for me was on the turn.

An example being this hand of mine from today's Sunday Major, where I have pasted it just up until the key flop decision.: (albeit it lost formatting)

This way, people are not unconsciously or consciously affected by the result.

What do you do on the flop here? Anyone? Pridey is reasonably standard.

AliG, top pair and the most outrageous of calls to the flop if they had 45.....priced in maybe..?

Personally 1010 are the bottom of my shoving range so in they would go preflop And post flop bet I would put them ona Daniel Negreanu hand of 78 and probably fold....

    Can't really seeing it being 87 D.

With his stack he should only really be 3betting pre against an UTG raise, with TT+, AQ+

Now he could widen that slightly to include, 88,99, AJ, KQ if he thinks I am aggro, but not much wider due to his stack being insufficient to do much 3bet bluffing.

So after the pre-flop action, I have to put him on AA, KK, QQ, JJ,99, 88 AK, AQ, AJ, or KQ with AJ, KQ, 88 and 99 only a small percentage of the time.

SO? Did you call/re-raise?? ( Please don't tell me you folded otherwise I've got pages of notes on you that I will need to re-write......)

Normally I would fold pre flop if villain was tight and 4bet pre flop if he was aggro and never call like I did, but as you'll know from reading my diary, this is an area of my game that I am trying to do just a bit more of, so I did call his 3bet pre.

I then re-raised all in on the flop (so as not to disappoint you Danny :D ) and he had KK and held.

    Disaster!

I later discussed this with @thisltedu (without telling him oppo's hand) and we agreed that with these stack sizes and the villain in question who's 3bet range in this spot we considered to be AK, AQ, AA, KK,QQ, JJ, a fold pre was probably the way to go.

A fold pre? Gosh I need to re-write my notes on my own game....I haven't got the discipline to fold 10's pre....unless we are close to the bubble then...
