Can I fold this?

I actually typed in chat 'please don't have quads' before calling!

Anyone here think they can get off this? The more I think about it the more I convince myself that I could have.

No, you can't ever fold there. He can easily have J-Q for the under house, even J-8. You don't say if it's PLO or PLO8 but if the latter he can easily have 2's full.

We can't ever fold here. (IMO).

@Tikay10 it's PLO8, so feel free to flame me for the pre flop call!

I don't think he reraises with 2's full (or 8's full for that matter), but agreed he could with J-Q and maybe J-8, but I block most of the Q's as I have two of them. Just annoying as I said what I said in chat before calling, but I guess sometimes we have to go broke.

had exactly the same sort of hand 140 bb deep on stars zoom hu last night

    QQXX

    On a Q44 xx board

    He checked river I bet 95% pot he 3b - I jammed

He max timebanked then called quads - cool chap.

But yeah flatting or folding is always the worst option in this scenario

We run into quads now & then & remember it, as it's so unusual, but we are almost always correct to get it in here, & we'd be quids in if we always assumed we were good - we almost always are.

Just a cooler really, suck it up & move on.

Thanks guys. I think I had flopped nut nut draws 3 times in this one MTT before that hand, I had failed to improve in all 3 cases so I guess I was doomed to fail in that tournament and the final hand was just a cruel way to get that final nail put in the coffin!

    @Enut

    I presume this is plo8

I'm never folding here and struggle to most of the time anyway, but then again i'm folding pre flop.

@Tikay10 is this a pre flop raise (plo8) in the early stages, bearing in mind its cheap to see a flop and the high hand possibilities. i guess there should be raises in

Saying that i would probably call pre

@safc71 some current top player input is required. if you know anyone.

I'd like to see a flop, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet it pre. Might call a small raise ion position I suppose, but then I'm way too tight.

What I like about the hand is that we know pretty much where we are once the flop & turn are dealt. We need a very specific board to proceed further. Multi-way & three low cards on the flop & I'm done with the hand. 2 high cards & 4 to the flush (or a Q, obv) & we can continue.

Great to see some Omaha discussion, by the way.
