    @Spike4000

I've moved this to Poker Chat so hopefully it'll get more eyeballs, & maybe more replies.

No idea what the answer to your question is, except to say that is a seriously ugly turn card.

To be honest @Tikay10 I don’t put him on AJ since he limped in pre

Can’t see suits cause I’m on my phone having a wee break…..

Bigger preflop raise, put him all in on flop if u wanna be aggro, playing small raise pre, think you need to consider calling and hoping on a nice river after the turn :) folding if they jam river and we miss imo

Yes, I'd make the same assumption, on the face of it that's an odd limp & normally speaking I think we can exclude A-J from his range as played.

No, I'm no longer allowed to play on Sky Poker. Various reasons, but mainly because I now have back-office access so it would be improper for me to play here as I have the inside line on players abilities.

Once they put me out to grass, which surely won't be long now, I'll be back like a shot, though only in 4 card stuff.

Ha, I hope they don't bin me yet awhile too. They've just contracted me for another year, until Jan 2025, so hopefully I'll be around a while yet.

It may surprise you to know that actually enjoy looking after our Customers. In my old-school mind, Customer Care is THE most important thing in a business.

Yes, I play Big O, PLO8 & occassionally PLO Online. Big O would always be my preferred first choice, such a wonderful game.

as i see it, you min raised pre flop not 3x ???
    ......

when he leads the flop, think the way the action went pre, you have to flat
and see the turn....he could easily have pocket pairs, Qx hands or A5, they are all gonna lead 100% of the time probly gonna bluff 100% of the time as well so your reraise is good and size is fine imo, when he calls though, his range becomes much smaller, q5, k5, qk, sets and the 2 broadway draws........i doubt anyone is calling the reraise there with A5, JJ or lower......

the turn again imo should be a call after he leads, his call on the flop screams strength, yet its such a small bet, we are getting huge odds to improve and hit on river......

again on the river such a small bet, coulda called and saved a lotta chips.......or bluff jammed the paired board and lost the same amount when he snaps ;).

all imo, probly shoulda just shut up haha.

I play AK the same. Vs some I would call flop as a trap and never fold if they are super aggro bluffy types. Think turn minbets can often be hands that want to see a cheap river. Top pair top kicker is a very strong hand blind on blind for 30bb each. I would always jam the turn. You are supposed to give him a full double when he makes such a strong hand. Nothing to be done.

I have seen people show up with hands like King 6, Q9, JT in these spots. Just happen to run into AJ. Money should go in preflop anyway with hands as strong as these. @green_beer I would say you are probably overly cautious and worried of strong hands, it is hard making good hands in this game, especially blind on blind. It seems somewhat hard for AK to be behind here when AJ shouldn't even be in SB's range.

fwiw i woulda raised preflop 5x the bb and probably jam it if he 4bets, and if he led on the flop im probly jamming it as well........but the way the preflop and flop
action went in that hand, plus the lead on the turn, i would give villain some credit for a strong hand in that spot.....calling the turn and calling the river just seems a better option imo

I want all the baddies to fold. Haha.

In that hand he ain’t folding AJ to a 5xbb raise, he wants to get it all in imo.

I play it different I raise bigger pre especially with and additional limper and then probably call down each street. If we get a check on any street we can start pressing hard for value

Looks like you are underplaying AK to me. Bigger preflop and stack it off ASAP.
