In Response to Re: UKOPS - The Thread:
Starting with "Special" Daily Satellites which combine High Roller & Main Event Seats . These will be 9pm EVERY NIGHT, 7 days per week. ( Replaces the TSP Classic Mon-Fri, & the £500 Gtd Sat & Sunday. Note the TSP Classic will NOT run tonight, or again until AFTER UKOPS has finished ). UKOPS Direct. Buy-In - £12. FIRST - GUARANTEED £530 UKOPS High-Roller Seat 2nd - 6th - GUARANTREED £220 Main Event Seats. Capped at 150 runners in every case. Micro-Sats to these UKOPS Directs - £2.40, the same schedule as the current TSP Classic satelite structure, except 7 days per week, not 5. So, these Micro-Sats will run at 3.50pm daily, 4.20pm daily, 4.50pm daily, 5.20pm daily, 5.50pm daily, 6.20pm daily, 6.50pm daily & 7.20pm daily.

Do the winners of these get a choice of any £220 UKOPS tournament?

The Satellite Lobby is now starting to populate the Satellites, but it will take some time before the full satellite Schedule is lobbied.

There is only one £220 UKOPS Event.

If you mean can a winner "mix & match" £220 worth of UKOPS Events, in short, no, I very much doubt that. If someone "double-qualified" (which we are NOT encouraging) it's probable they'd be offered Roller Seats to an equal value. The Back-Office Admin would be horrendous otherwise.

I'll need to check that out, JJ, I'll get back to you. It's likely - I hope - that the answer is "no", as it causes so much admin work, but I'll ask the Suits & see what they say. It also, fwiw, causes quite a bit of bad blood amongst smaller-rolled players who tend to take umberage at this.

    Anyway, I'll ask.

    But it's good for sky......

And makes them money, or, stops them losing as much money in Satty overlay ;)

I think thats what they do when you double qualify via the roller sats.

Looking forward to the answer :):):)

Sorry I didn't realise there was only 1 £220 buyin. I wasn't implying swapping events, (We both know that doesnt work well) lol

will there normal opens be running at the same time too? i take it that the minis will remain unchanged?

for example, the BI on the Thursday is so massive that it would be silly to drop the 33£ BH, which is the most popular main event by far....same with the Omaha event, which won't appeal to many people who simply know NLHE

fantastic satty schedule BTW.....not a single player can complain that smaller BR players aren't being thought of.  no doubt someone will tho.

No to the first - the existing Main Event schedule will be decimated if not totally scrapped that week - & replaced "as appropriate". More news on that nearer the time, it's not worth getting into it right now, imo.

Same to the Minis too, really - if the Mains don't exist, or only partly exist, then the Mini's, which are tied to them, will also be affected.

But those who currently play the Minis as their "Main" need not worry, the Minis WILL be temporarily replaced by a product as close to the original as possible.

It's quite a balancing act to juggle everything "just so" so that nobody is adsversely affected, but there's always a price when Online Fessies like this run. There is also an Upside, & both need to be seen in a balanced view.

    In short, "no".

The Satellites have been designed specifically to drive traffic to UKOPS, & win UKOPS Seats, & we don't really want them used for other purposes.
