I think Sky have missed a trick-UKOPS Series

Firstly very enjoyable tourney last night, well done to Snedders on the win and all that cashed! (i didnt play just railed a few ppl)

Im very suprised Sky is not live everynight this week following each event live, apart from tonight because obviously they cant show omaha.

I personally think every night they should 865 should be live at least from 9 till the event has concluded, I know it will be live normal days but just for 1 week this should have been altered.

All my opinon any thoughts?

    I don't think the TV coverage hampers the series too much.

    agree with ryan, im sure that the tv channel will show highlights of all the final tables (plo excepted)

    the only thing thats missing for me is a Hilo mtt. I think even a 2k hilo event woulda been close to its Gtd. Hopefully next time!

    It does a bit but i have seen in the Main thread now and can understand it, didnt read thread before i posted my bad.

    would be great rather then virtual railing watching on tv crucial hands on the night and just the whole coverage can only be a +, probably costy though as was mentioned so nvm

    Look at the numbers last night. (and no's for the normal 8pm)

    For once, (other than being unclear about the sats and not replying to my thread even though I bumped it 75 thousand times) I think that sky have got it pretty much spot on.

    Wasn't bothered about UKOPS @ all when it was first announced, after watching last night I'm gonna try and get in them all!!!

    Thanks for being understanding of the situation, guys. It comes down to cost-effective spend, to £££'s. As someone mentioned, the numbers who played UKOPS1 suggests that TV coverage, whilst nice, would not have achieved much extra business.

    A parallel story. "Next door" we run "Live Updates", web-based running commentaries on big Live Events. They cost a fortune, & we (next door) are asking for donations to fund the Blackpool GUKPT Live Update. So far, despite having thousands of Members, of whom hundreds view the Live Update, we have received pledges of exactly.....£130. Go figure.

    Everything has a price, but nobody wants to pay. How that work?

    I've been 4 tabling for a whole hour and I haven't had a beer since Saturday night ACTUALLY Hogggolaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

    First of a new month innit ;)
