In Response to Re: ******NOVEMBER PROFIT CHALLENGE THREAD******* : Played 1 PLO bounty hunter and 2 £3.30 PLO8s. RNG was in full crazy mode for the bounty hunter. Within the first lever there was a straight flush and quads twice at my table, also quite a few lucky rivers. Unfortunately I was on the wrong side more often than not. Made deep runs in both PLO8s, one 5th and one 2nd. I really enjoy these and recently they've been getting close to 20 runners, hope they can grow further. 1 cash out of 3, daily balance +£7.30, MTD balance +£120.02.

Somehow Fridays are usually a losing days for me, and today was no different. I won a bounty hunter, but in the big £500gtd I made another deep, but not deep enough, run. I hope I'll bink another cash before Sky cancel it.

1 cash out of 4, daily balance -£9.03, MTD balance +£110.99.

Bit dispirited with my cash results so haven't posted on here for a while. Finally put a bit of volume in last weekend, but seem to have steady small losses at nl4 at the moment. There's been the odd lapse of concentration but the fish are biting back a bit too often.

Mtt's I'm running well, and comfortably in profit for the month, but I've lost that on the cash tables.

Going to have a rethink for December.

    Month -£1.12

    Points 482

lost a little yesterday- 89p but was down over 2 BIs at one point
nice hand where i got £9 after 3 allins where my 2 pair held on against flush draw and straight draw
    was a "phew!" moment
for month now up £24.42, points 1234
first losing 3 sessions in a row for a month or 2.  i think sonme bad habits are creeping back in and a few bits of bad luck.
a couple of days off should hopefully rectify that if i can resist!
still i am up for the month (although not the 10BI's i was hoping for!) and you can't complain at that

    good luck all

Saturdays are usually my best days of the week, and today was no different. I played all day and made several deep runs. The one aspect I'm slightly unhappy about is that I made it to heads-up 6 times and only won twice, but overall today was hugely successful.
Due to running deep in so many tournaments I ended up 3 tabling for quite a while with 2 of the tables 3 handed or heads-up. I can barely cope with 3 full tables, and once they get short I really have a hard time keeping up. I really don't get how some can play 6/8/12/24 tables. Blows my mind.
Also, towards the end I lost concentration and made 2 bad calls where I missed that straights/full houses were possible. Not my proudest moment, but I guess not too surprising after about 14 hours of non-stop poker.

8 cashes out of 15, daily balance +£42.14, MTD balance +£153.13.

Today was kinda pointless from a poker point of view. Played bad, ran bad, but somehow I binked a cash in one of the £3.30 POL8 when all throughout the big stacks kept getting it in against each other. I think when the bubble started I had about 4k, 2 shorties had 2-3k and the running like Jesus big stack had close to 30k.

1 cash out of 7, daily balance -£4.00, MTD balance +£149.13.

This now appears to be my personal thread, but the month is almost over, so no point quitting now.

Today was really annoying at the tables. I rarely hit any of my draws but got outdrawn all the time. In fact I busted 3 tourneys when I shoved the turn as about 70% fav. I realise this happens in Omaha, still highly annoying. Fortunately I won a £20gtd PLO (only 3 runners), so at least overall losses are limited, but from a having-fun-at-tables point of view today was a waste of time.

1 cash out of 7, daily balance -£6.50, MTD balance +£142.63.

Similar day to yesterday, 1 win but still a loss overall. As I hit exactly 500 points now I will shut it down for the month. If I can be bothered I'll post my stats tomorrow.

1 cash out of 4, daily balance -£0.81, final November balance £141.82.

Overall I'm very happy with my November results. I plugged my biggest leak by not playing hold'em anymore and I made a decent profit at both PLO and PLO8. I've been in profit all 5 months I've been playing here and my initial deposit of £200 has grown to £871.13 as of today.

I will play a lot less over the next few weeks as I have a huge backlog of PC games to get through. I also feel that I'm not having as much fun playing every day as I had a few weeks ago, so better to take a break than fall out of love with the game.

Good luck at the tables (especially walesboy!!)

After some more cash losses  started last night about £5 down. Played 3 tables nl4 calmly and sensibly for an hour and lost a buy-in, so very frustrated.

Went back to basics, bum hunted 3 DYM's at £3 and £5, won all 3 to at least finish the month with a very small overall profit of £1.24 and just over 500 c4p. Profit is better than a loss, but it's very dissapointing having been £50 up early in the month.

Will be taking a break for a few days now, and won't be attempting to get to even 500 points for December. Very unlikely to be playing much cash for the next month either.

    Terrible month, finished £104 down.

Got so bad i was playing expecting to lose so towards the end of the month i stopped playing, didn't even reach 500 c4p.

Apart from the odd freeroll i'm not going to play any poker this month and see how i feel in the new year.

    Be lucky.
