time to re-negotiate?

James williams - spkut grand final - winner!!

James williams - ukops main event - winner!!

we cant afford to lose our best player... sky should up the stakes and keep him!!

i know there are circumstances that i do not know of to why/where he is going, im just aknowledging that it is a shame to lose such a great player.

all the best James. im sure there is a huge win to come...

    He has signed for another sponsor already, VBOL to him.

    He has done Sky Poker proud in his year as TSP, he has a very bright future ahead of him!!

    i know one other site (i wont name as i dont know for sure) rated him very highly.

    Unfortunetly for Sky, James wants to play on the world stage, which is where he should be and i just dont think sky are ready for that at the moment.

    i knew it wouldnt be named here and that james would not stay with sky.. i was just aknowledging that he is a great loss to tsp!!    

    think we should have our jackpot winner in his place??

    James always was, & always will be, on the cusp of signing for The HitSquad!!

    We Wish him well in the Future, and am sure to finally nail the deal, prob in a Casino bar, sometime, somewhere, in the future, [prob at bout 5am tho!!]!!

    Wherever he plays, whatever he signs, he will always be a SkyPoker friend, & The Hitsquad door is always open, as it is to all!! He would look great in a Hitsquaddie Polo & so would his Girlfriend!!

    Players come, players go. If you had a list of all the players signed by poker sites in the last 10 years and no longer with them, well.... the cemetary is littered with them. James done well out of sky, free entry to spt, free entry to all the ukops and tidy wins too! Other players will come and go and win/lose too, he may do well on other sites he may not, its the nature of the ''game'' Poker sites and players must juggle the pros and cons and work out whats best for them, its not for us ''fun players'' Remember to 99.99999% of players, things like this matter diddly squat, its like pro football players and sunday league players, a world apart. To finish, gl James wherever you are, but for sky, remember no matter how heartless it seems, there are 1000's of James's out there waiting to be signed, its like x-factor, fantastic win and in the same breadth, ''bring on the next best guy/gal for series 2'' lol.

    Hey am no expert, but if you picked TOP 50 players on Sky last 4 years, from ma limited knowledge of this, succeses being,
    Will Brewin, PokerBcity
    Sparce
    lolufold
    Danb10
    Gregghogg, [went vegas Sky]
    Glitterbabe, & many others

    These are VERY succesful players, amongst the Top succesful players on the site!!
    Am sure if they were asked, they would agree that James is Special!! If people disagree then they have to admit he is on some HEATER FFS!! lol!!



    Thread was not really going towards daring to make suggestion of  best way forward, I just took this as a complimentary thread to aknowledge James's acceleration of results, which my post was a 'tongue in cheek' doff of hat to this!! LOL

    PS. Seriously, not in Poker World, but Sport & Business, I have been lucky enough to meet & socialise with some of the top 0.5% winners in these catagories, some as friends, so I get to see the 'light' in their eyes, which enables them to focus & kick on ahead of their peers!! May sound Corney but I see this in James, as it was with Wisey, Ferdinand, Downes etc!!

    My post wasn't meant to be harsh or critical, just telling it like is is that's all. Pro football players sign and resign all the time to different clubs, that doesn't make them bad, its only business thats all. From what i understand, and im not privileged to any facts, but James and the rest were offered new deals, some signed, some didn't. To me that doesn't infer any bad dealing from either party, its just business, one makes an offer, the other party says yes or no thats all. The point i was making is that there are loads of players out there, some known, a lot waiting to be known that can and will fill the shoes of any team member well into the future thats all.
