just to let everyone know that sky have 3 players thru to day 2

sikas on 70k
penguin7 on 35k
dantb10 on 27k

think blinds are 600/1200...play starts at 2

updates on gukpt site/blonde blog plus the live stream can be found in the usual places

    yeah busted ~50th or so, got it in with AA vs 96 on 9-4-3 flop, river...9    *sigh*

    great experince, thoroughly enjoyed it

    I busted too. Played first 2 levels starting with 35k. Not a bad table with a few shorter than me. But never found a hand I could do a lot with. After 2 hours of just finding spots I could 3bet and take it down, the shorties were all gone and my stack was only marginally bigger.

    Button min raised, and I knew he was at it, so shoved with K10. big blind had AK. 46th place I think.

    Good experience though.

    budgirl's just asked me to post this for him ....

    Thoroughly enjoyable experience,,, was great to meet some top class players,, Jake Cody,(claim to fame,, 3 bets cody out of position) Paul Jackson.. nice guys great ambassadors for the game.  Not the best run of cards ive ever had,, air balls getting thru, premiums getting cracked,,, exit hand,,,, Button makes it 2.4k, i raise in sb wi AQ TO 8K,, BB flats and button passes,  flop q 10 7, i bet 9k, bb shoves only 13k back with blinds up next hand to 800 1600,,, think im beat but call anyway...  bb AA.... hey ho.
    Just as i was about to leave, i wanted to thank Paul Jackson for his advice and wish him luck!!!  as i got to his table he was in a hand so waited for it to finish,, he was eliminated that very hand.. im such a jinx.....
    Thanks sky for the opportunity, would highly recommend to anyone to have a go if the opportunity comes your way.
    Sikas and Penquin7 both great guys, lovely to meet u both...
