True, but, it has allowed me to go deep in a lot of tounies where as I would psobs have not done so had the players been there.
Some players sit out deliberately as a tactic in DYMs. But beware, they're usually watching and will jump in if they pick up a premium.
In tournies with an entry fee it's often players with connection problems (red time bar = disconnected, green time bar = connected but sitting out for some other reason).

Not if you can stack the only other active player by outplaying them HU, keep stealing the dead money to tilt them and make them get it in with worse vs u

dont need a monster, king high with a dodgy kicker is usually enough, they usually get fed up and stack off with much worse.
and amybr, i like getting into messes lol, its much more fun!

But every single terrible hand gains a lot o' value...
is well annoying if only 2 active & 4 aways & active player is to your left. U end up playing 5/6ths of the hands oop or conceding the dead money Posted by Ploppy33
That's true, I hate always being OOP to the one other active player.

Then you find yourself in weird spots when raising as there is the perception that you may be going after the dead money.
I like freerolls where everyone is sat out but you. Keeps it simpler.......

because you just said it, and you dont need anyones permission
id rather play one person than 5 anyday of the week.
They should only be annoying in cash where they are blocking a seat for 10 minutes
