in a live game at the end of a hand u see people show just 1 card, online u show both, anyone know if sky would be able to change it to show left card, show right card or both.i think this would be good as it would add a bit more mind games to online.

a large number of sites now actually do this i believe this is the way forward. I remember on stars i was bluffing a guy folds showing 66. i mucked showing just a 6 keeping my other card quiet. Was a bad fold as i had 6 high and was very much drawing dead.

However i also agree that if i fold a big hand and im last in the pot (HU pot or everyone else has folded bar the raiser) i suspect hes got there i wana be able to show i can make big folds. This is a huge part of poker imo. In  a live game where the game is active i show i can make big folds and people then allow me to bluff. Online and live on a tight table ill show bluffs to create action.

I know this sounds pretty daft but its part of the mental side of the game. Its a must.

Showing cards imo is over rated, showing one card actually reveals your hand anyway )
I have seen live players show one card in an attempt to make everyone think there bluffing, really bad idea.
The only situation where I think showing your cards is best is when your a very aggro playing opening a lot of pots and 3 betting a lot. Showing some decent hands in and around can only be good especially when you can see the players getting a bit annoyed ) "Look I do have a hand" !!!
Never show bluffs, if you do don't bluff anymore ) set em up and lock up

If your going to show any card/s then as long you know why your doing it and what the results will be from doing it then no problem.

Definite value to showing hands *if* it sets up a play against a weaker opponent who is prone to tilting/overthinking previous hands and spraying their chips around while they're still sussing that hand out.

Absolutely no value in showing if you're playing against a good player - why help them figure out half of of your hand? Show them nothing and make them work it out for themselves.

    Simples. ;)
