Hello all,

Not sure whether this is the place to post a generic hello thread, but let's go !

After winding the wife up night after night by forcing her to watch Tikay and Orford, I've decided to register. Now being a tight man I've just used my bonus money to win the odd sng and double up on nl4 :-P
More money will be added to the old account when I draw it out of my old account, then I can start to lose it all here instead.

Anyway this is a quick Hello, it really looks like a fun place to be, and I hope you all enjoy taking my chips off me at the tables !!!

    Hello Mister B and welcome to the best poker community you'll ever find.

    Have a look around, there's loads to get involved in and you can do as much or as little as you want.

    There's the Forum DTD, just 3 cheap tournaments alot of the forum regulars play every week with extra prizes thrown in by Sky.

    There's the team section where you can join up to a team if you like (mostly for banter)

    Enjoy yourself and good luck at the tables!

    Can I just ask whether we're able to use any HUDs here, or any way of tracking our hands?

    The Sky software doesn't allow for any sort of tracking software. Although someone did discuss this in another thread recently and they did say (and I agree) that it does teach you to be more reliant on your own brain which is obviously the only thing you've got when you play live poker.

    Well, day 2 on the Sky Poker site. Very good day indeed.

    Basically I'm just going to see how far I can get with the free £2 I made using a freebet £1 sng don win.
    I'm not totally tight, I will deposit, but at the moment it's nice and easy because I'm always thinking 'it's not my real money'
    Please don't shoot me down for not depositing yet, this is a nice challenge I've set myself.

    Currently up to just over £11 at 4nl, I'll post daily how much I've lost. Then when it's all gone, I will start grinding 2NL properly with around £100 for starters.

    Might look at entering a few tourney's but I never do well at them, I can't bare the varience cause I can't play them constantly. Also SnG's usually just drain money from me.
    Cash is the way for me.

    Anyways I'm waffling. look out for day 3...
