hi guys.. few gukpts ago sky was running sats into main event and running live stream/thread on players playing!! i really enjoyed these especially watching dan and ryans deep run.. have they been stopped??

if so does anyone know if any sky players are playing the final next week and where we can find updates??

also does anyone know if there is going to be any more sats into these in the future!!

hey there.

the last couple of GUKPTs haven't been official Sky events.  a numvber of Sky players have played but there haven't been updates made on the site.

updates for all GUKPTs  can be found on their official site and the live stream can also be found there too

I may play the grand final.  not sure about anyone else.  it is a 2.5k event so a lot of pennies so unsure.

no idea on the sat situation.

Silly question but with your track record I'm sure there's loadsa players on the forum would like to buy a % of your action.

Um I wouldn't like to sell %ages on the forum as I think things like that could create a precident and make things a bit awkward for Sky.

For the record I have sold action in these events, and others before.  

The unique thing about the TSP membership, is that unlike other sponsership programmes, I own 100pc of my action.  Most other sites, even the 'big names', take a cut of any binks.  I do have to give 10pc of any TSP related binks back to Sky tho, but thats for them to hold onto and put me into more live events so its mine really...

Some successfull.  Others not

There would be zero interest from the ladies tho haha.

am umming & arring about this & think i'm gonna swerve, like ryan said it's a big buy-in & i think i'd rather have a punt in the dublin wpt early in the new year for slightly less pennies.

so many events out there, pays to be be choosey!

I think and i may be wrong in this they were for the summer series of the events(slightly smaller buy ins £550 and held in smaller venues during the summer months, southampton grovesnor was one as i qualified for that but there were others as well) i think you will find a site that has poker and stars in its name has the only sats into the main events. (least wise that is what they were infering in the dverts on tv the other night)
