main differences between nl50 and nl300 plz! Posted by pod1
The amount it costs you to buy in and the blinds
While I'm playing poker I am either watching channel 865 of course, either that or Sky Sports News while having a beer or two, or maybe coffee depending on how long I expect to be playing and how early I have to be up the next day.
The worst trial I could think of is watching a tape of Phil Hellmuth take bad beat after bad beat and everytime I laughed I would get a huge electric shock!
Hi Anna, I'm sure your worst thing would be to realise there is no electric sockets for you hair curlers and straighteners, etc. Mine would be to have a big tastie burger on a fully glass walkway and not having eaten for 2/3 days, as i have a fear of heights(or falling from height lol), and i can't resist the burgers. My question for Redmond and Tony is, How much of the game is feeling and how much should decisions be made by the info available.
The biggest nightmare I can imagine would be:- Tuning into 865 and finding:-
Davina Mc Call presenting!
Simon Cowell giving expert analysis!
Carlo voicing the diary room!
Tikay and Orford up for eviction!
Have a good show guys & gal!
Quick question for Redmond. Before he starts a marathon session how does he get ready? e.g. Does he sleep, shower, load his table with snacks/drinks, relax on his playstation, etc or does he just fire up and go? Silly question I know but in the few higher level games I've played in I've been nervous and found half an hour in the bath before the tournament starts chills me out!

Hey guys, Hope you have a good show, it's really great to see Redmond back again, he was great last week and it's also lovely to see Tikay back too (I missed Thursday's show). So here are my answers... 1. I'm really terrible for doing a million things while I'm playing poker, which is probably why I'm not as big a winning player as I think I could be. I'm usually playing about 4 tables, while watching tv or a film, while using Facebook chat to talk to a couple of people, while browsing the Sky Poker forum, and recently I've been doing my online Christmas shopping at the same time too! lol... no wonder I don't win more! 2. I'm not sure where it's going, I can definitely see the market increasing as more and more new blood comes in all the time. And I think it's only a matter of time before it gets more coverage in the media, which should hopefully reduce the number of ignorant people who think it's just a game of luck and hermits. 3. Well firstly, you'd never get me going anywhere near that show because I'm terrified of practically everything on it... rats, snakes, spiders, practically any insect, heights (jumping out of a plane to get into the show), confined spaces, you name it! Secondly, I'm disappointed in you Anna for watching such a rubbish show lol, but for me I think the worst thing would be just having to sleep there everynight... I don't even like going to sleep if I know there's a moth in my room so I literally wouldn't get a minutes sleep the whole time I was there! Paul Posted by Lambert180
ha ha no Paul...deffo need to defend myself there!! Don't usually watch it honest! just caught one of the trials. moth lol!! furry little bodies!
I think the question re nl300 is a guy taking a 1 off shot, he's written the money off and wants to see how it goes, he has a bankroll in place to play the lower levels which he will go back to regardless of how tonight goes with the big boys.
I have a heads up question for redmond as i know he plays alot of High stakes heads up.
I have been playing alot of heads up sit and go's recently as i feel i am better at this in general. however i am struggling in a certain situation which i think is technically called the donk bet.
Lets say i am on the btn and i rase 3x bb with ak, my opponent calls. then i miss the flop. my opponent then bets out...i dont know what to do. i am finding this happening in most games. i have tried re-raising but then i occasionally get put all in. am i wasting chips if i re-raise, should i float here to take it down on another street. or should i just give up. i know 70% of the time we miss the flop but am i being too much of a nit or just plain bullied?
Nothing to say really you are quite correct with the not limping (no excuses) in however this table is quite tight and raises were getting no action. Few hands later with a premium hand the play was a bit different. Nice show and comtimue the good work
in regards to hand with Aiken (QQ v A8) i agree that mysizing was wrong, as reds and tikay both said was trying to extract value. On the river i didnt think there was many 8's in his range but felt the c/c would keep bluffs/missed draws in.
Flop and turn not happy with my sizing tbh when cards where flipped i was pretty shocked.
Hi, just a q for Mr Lee please, hope it makes sense.
Im a STT player and lookin to play more cash in the new year. Is it better to have 60 buy-ins at the same level or to have 20 buy-ins at one level and move up to the nxt level knowing u can move bk down if things dont well? U could then have 4 levels with 20 buys-ins at, is this better? Im assuming that buy-in swings are more common and your card range shld be more wide in cash than STT'S?

Great show guys ,
when Tk the top man eventually retires from skypoker lol ,
A question for Redmond ,
would you be interested in taking over the role ,
of skypoker ambassador / tv top man ?
p.s i think Redmond would be a great man to carry the skypoker flag .
