just wondering if anyone uses this part of the forum ,and more importantly does anyone from sky respond to it. i put a hand up probably a week ago and and asked sky a question about it, since then only 1 other person has requested a hand and noone from sky has got back to me. whats the point in having the facility if its not used and sky dont read it!! disgruntled phil :-(

Yeah they dont seem to bother. It seems that they have more set formats these days when they never used to. Like Saturday they will only show a hand if its from a mastercash table. Thursday they will only show Roller/Bounty Hunter hands and Sunday only show Primo/Roller hands. Gone are the days where you can just ask for a hand to be shown and they do it.

Yes but this is because the hand you want shown may be on a table/hand with players who do not want their hands shown , so Sky have to respect this.

I agree, take a look at community suggestions, and some of the other categories for that matter, it takes ages for replies. I reckon since sky rich left there hasn't been a person delegated from sky to check each category each morning to answer queries, reply to posts etc, it seems quite ad hoc like whoever just happens to come accross a particular thread. I appreciate they have other more urgent tasks to complete during work hours, but if your going to invite customer engagement by way of a forum, then at least try to keep on top of things. Just a thought, maybe they are relying too much on the forum mod volunteers to deal with customer engagement and sometimes lose their way.

Maybe this question is best suited for me to answer as I manage the channel.

No we cannot reply to all questions and everything that are posted on the forum. We have an extremely small team that works on the channel with a packed schedule of things to do including moving studios, guests, bookings, edits the list goes on.

There is also no guarantee that your hands will be played on the channel. Some people ask us to show hands which do not even feature on a table with a TV icon. They spend hours abusing us we find the hand tell them it cannot be shown, then we get an apology.

pod1- I will have a look at your hand request post and if I can answer your question I will. However I would ask for yourself and everyone to respect the team on the channel and appreciate how busy we are

Correct - nobody from the Business has the specific job to reply to Community Topics & questions. They could employ someone to do that, at a cost of - well, you guess - or invest the money in better Promotions, which benefits ALL Sky Poker Clients, not just the minority who use the Community.

ALL the Threads & Posts in the Community Boards ARE read by at least one of us, which can be done fairly quickly & efficiently. To reply to every one would take forever, & not be cost-effective. That does not mean they are not read, though, or taken note of - they are.
