hi TK and the powers of SKYPOKER,
is there any chance sky would be willing to add more deep stacks or frezeouts at regular intervals?

i would love to see a deep stack £500 gtd tournament with a £2 + buy in and also maybe a £750 gtd with a £5+ buy in,these types of tournies would possibly be well attended if ran at the correct time of night.

thanks
hunterlad.

It's VERY unlikely they'll get 250 runners in the £2 deepstack (to cover the guarantee) and likewise, it would probably be a struggle to get 150 runners for the £5 one most nights.

They run deepstacks every night, low stakes buy-ins and they usually only have 90-130 players.

Yeah there is no way they would hit their targets.

I think Sky Poker has plenty of DeepStack Freezeouts already, to be honest.

A £500 Guaranteed with a £2 buy-in would need 250 runners every time to "cover", & that's not achievable, judging by Sky Poker historical data. One of the reasons is that to Final a 5 hour Tourney, or play 5 hours & not cash, or get a min-cash, would not be very popular with the majority, imo. Most players would not consider that cost-effective.

However, I will send your thread upstairs, so that the Suits can decide for themselves.

Incidentally, deepstacks are my favourite form of Tourney Poker, but you & I are in a minority.

You get nearly 200 runners in the deepstacks on Monday nights. 3 of em.

    £1/£2 & £2 quidders....

Also the mini opens every night...all £3, think 4 of those are freezeouts/doublestacks....(1k gtd)

Mini Primo aint a deepstack but the clock is slowwwwwwwwwwwwww.

So Mon, Tues, Weds, Fri & Sun u can get a 180+ runner deepstack/freezeout which starts before 8.30, for less than a fiver.

    More turbos???? :D:D:D

    yes please

as for 'I think Sky Poker has plenty of DeepStack Freezeouts already, to be honest'

i disagree...well as far as the 'high' staked mtt's go there no Deepstack Freezeouts on everynight, the only ones are the Double Stack/Roller and they're Main Events, same goes for Rebuys - the friday £11 rebuy is the only 1 on once a week  <-probs my fav MTT

theres ONLY 1x regular freezeout on everynight and thats the £11 500GTD

i'd like to see these on EVERY night as....

    £1k £22 Deepstack
    £2k £10 Rebuy
    £2k £10 Deepstack-Rebuy....lol could b good

some even bigger ones would be good like £30 Rebuy or £40 Deepstack im sure would do well with a modest 2k GTD on each

bigger GTEs = more players in my experiance. Im sure the sky data can probably confirm this, even if it runs at a loss for a week or two and then starts to increase in numbers as the word spreads.

Not saying im right of coarse. i dont have all that technical data that sky have.

Not sure how relevant this is BUT the old £22 buy in nightly deepstack at 7.30pm i think it was , just DID NOT get the support that it used to ' back in the day' and yet it WAS reinstated due to popular demand AND players sayin they would loyally support it again , which the majority didnt.

Correctamondo. So many players said they wanted it, but they never walked the walk, & it cost a small fortune in overlays.

Doubt they will make that mistake again. Once is fine, twice is careless, three times & someone gets shot.

thats a shame, must have been before my time

a nightly £10-20 rebuy between 9-10pm would be nice tho
