Hi there!
We're live on channel 865 (from 8pm) and Sky Sports 4 (from 10pm) with continuous coverage of the £5,000 Sky Roller and the £15,000 Sky Sports Bounty Hunter.
And, as I firmly believe that plagiarism saves time, I'm "borrowing" an idea from the forum and inviting you, for one night only, to...

Good question. More like this, please!
Good evening Gentlemen. My 'Ask Tikay' question is, as someone who enjoys tournament poker I can't seem to get a grasp on what my goals should be if playing cash. For example I wouldn't sit down as I don't really have a plan. In a tournament I know that I want to keep my stack rising as the blinds go up and to gain a big enough stack to be able to make the latter stages and hopefully go on to win. I find this structure enjoyable and I can see my way through the game. In a cash game it seems like there is no end and no advancement so I expect I would get impatient. I haven't really played any cash yet due to this inability to find a strategy. I will always play tornaments as thats what I love but I assume I will need to start playing cash to improve my game. Hope the question isn't too long. Best wishes. Shaun the Villa fan in Bham

bankroll rules are fine for professional players or people who are trying to grind a roll.
what are your objectives? if losing £20 isnt a big deal to you then play whatever limits you like some people play for fun and theres no harm in that
if you are trying to grind a roll from your initial deposit try if you can to deposit at least the same again (if you can afford it) and then grind lowest stake dyms until you have approx £100 and then hit the cash tables fully rolled
Looking forward to another good show tonight.

1. I know it's often joked that you have this image of being super-tight with your opening range consisting of AA and KK which is clearly nonsense lol... obviously the better players will not pay this as much heed as others but do you ever use this image take advantage of people who believe you only play absolute premium hands?
2. When you get quite a commanding lead in the late stages of a tourney, say there's 20 players left, blinds at 200/400, you have 20,000 and the other 5 players all have around 6000 chips, how do you change your game if at all? Do you start getting alot more aggressive? Do you stick to pretty strong hands to avoid doubling people up needlessly? Thoughts please Tony
my question for TK is have you ever played poker on a train , in true paul newman style, must be heaven for you !

Hi guys great show as usual. I have a question for james if I may?.... What happened in the monday night deep stack tournement? You was shorting at one point with 5000 ish chips and 5 mins later you was on 25.000 chips then you went out. I thought you was going to make one **** of a come back!
Gives me the right hump the way Tikay continually gets distracted from informative poker questions with a whole load of unimportant engineering trivia.
So with this in mind could tikay please tell me if he has ever played a poker tournament in Ironbridge?
;o)))
Z.
PS you can keep my C4P if you can tell me who designed the bridge!
TK thanks for your kind comments but I feel I need to correct your comments. It was the Royal Navy not merchant navy and it was actually a shore based draft. But its good to be back as I had to spend 6 months not playing poker.
