67 Bhoys Omaha Hi Lo DYM challenge, final results.

67Bhoys

The Omaha Hi Lo DYM challenge is to try to make a profit during the month of December, playing Omaha Hi Lo DYMs.

I will be trying to do this using the table below, sarting at level 1 and trying to progress as far as possible without losing.  If I lose, I will start at level 1 again.

I will be posting an updated table as I hopefully progress to see If I can make a decent profit in December.

Best i got last month was 10 in a row mate, then it was back to level 1.  Hopefully I'll beat that this month.

How did you devise the game selection plan? Was it random, or some kinda strategy behind it?

The strategy behind it is, once your in profit to lose as little as possible of your gains.  I also reckoned that the further any run goes, the chance of variance popping it's ugly little head up is increased.  So the levels are designed to retain as much of your gains as possible while moving through the levels.

I've just ventured into the world of Omaha and that seems complicated enough for me. I've heard about Omaha HiLo but absolutely no idea how its played.

I'm an old dude mate, 1 table of hi lo is enough for my old brain cells.

But if anyone wanted to multitable at the low levels and say won a £2.25 when it should have been a £5.50, then just play the £5.50,if you win then you have alreay have the next level in the bag, or if you lose then you have already got level 1 in the bag.  there is nothing to stop you having 2 or 3 runs going at the same time.  Just highlight them in different colours.

Thanks Lorraine, I know your venturing into Omaha, so good luck. Hopefully one day you will try Hi Lo.  It does hurt the brain at 1st, but once you get to grips with it, it is a great game to play.  The DYMs are a bit expensive for beginners , but there are £1.10 tournaments during the day if you fancy having a go.

I play Omaha and I know how to play hi/lo as far as the rules of the game, but I just can't get my head round aiming for 2 seperate hands and how that would affect your hand selection.
