    Hi again guys.

My 2nd post in a short time and on a roll now lol

Just wondering what you make of my fold here ( please dont be too harsh :)  )  reason for my fold was the player i was up against seemed very tight in previous hands and i felt as if he was putting me on a overpair and thinking i wouldnt lay it down.

Knowing my luck though i am most prob wrong and will look a right nit lol but i was always told to try and never to go bust with 1 pair and try not to ever play a guessing game and in this pot i didnt have that much invested and felt as if i would be doing both of the above things if i called.

    hand history = 445318466

id agree with that i play on a few sites and i think the standards pretty good on sky but its all good playing with better players helps you improve your own game

Made my 1st apppearance on Mastercash tonight

You showed 1 hand but i folded pre - flop - the next hand i won and i was waiting for Carlo,s commentary when you went to a brk and switched tables

Its not a brag post - Onist guv

I was waiting to see if in that position on the button on a tight table you have a good idea that could be a high pair and these sorts of hands can pay off against "premium hands "

How many times out of 100 , bearing in mind you dont want to look predictable how many times should you fold ? call - fold ? or raise ? out of a 100 positions in the same spot perecenateg wise  - ( In position )

    Hand id - 445324394

What are Carlo's thoughts on starting your cash play by deliberately playing loose on the button in lower levels to gain a reputation of playing with air.
Then tightening up your game to encourage opponents calls when you have premium hands?.
When I first started watching 865 there were two players UziLover and Muse who were impossible to read on the cash table but in MTT's seemed to tighten up immensely.
It appeared that variety was more profitable than standard play because as players became more informed, players moves became more predictable and the players who broke the rules enjoyed great success.

    Hi again guys.

    Good show tonight as always.

Ive been watching sky poker now for about 4 months and in that time have noticed that whenever anyone has been absent or were looking like they might be going to miss a show (eg anna at spt) Rich always seems to be the guy on hand to fill the empty spot.

Just wondering if you are the one who lives closest to the studios Rich mate or are you the factory cat who is never away from work ?  or maybe with christmas around the corner and the need for a bit extra cash do you pitch your tent outside on standby and is it true you were looking for a paperound on a morning because you have a few hours to spare each day :)

Only a laugh m8 but remember that all work and no play makes jack a dull boy lol

Thank you for the reply to my post guys.

My thinking on the hand was that i could only be beating 1 hand that he would do that with (AQ) because up until that point that particular player had never stepped out of line in any way and was controling the pot sizes in any hands he played.

I was amazed when i saw the 78 :)  but good luck to him for outplaying me.

Also Rich i am off on my holidays in 2 weeks and there will be a job going where i work for 14 days if you can fill in :)

Just leave your answer on this thread if you can drive a JCB and have 2 weeks to spare lol

Cya guys and thanks for another great show.

Just seen that _ Ive had to pause and running half an hour behind , but just seen Carlo,s analysis and think he was wrong here  I would have done the same . Was on same table and played him before

That was a very uncararistic move by the player involved  and 9/10 he has a monster

Sorry mate, only just seen this. No, we ran out of time I'm afraid but we'll be back on the big tables again from about 11pm next Saturday plus we'll have the really big hands of the week from 9 till 10pm.
