A little about myself.

Hi, i'm aware there is most likely an introductory thread for new members to introduce themselves, however i've not come across one yet. So i'd like to take this opportunity to say a few things about myself, my poker and other related things, solely as a way to introduce myself to everyone. Feel free to introduce yourself to me or others.
My name is Arron Pointon, i live in a place called Widnes, it is a small town on the outskirts of Liverpool. I'm 18 years of age, and currently in my first year of university studying Maths, at Manchester University.
I haven't actually being playing poker for along time, possibly 4-6 months.
I got hooked to poker when i seen Sky Poker channel on the television, i had prior knowledge of poker, but only basic knowledge. The level of thinking involved and discussed on that channel fascinated me, i then started recording all the poker i could, to try and become a good poker player hopefully. My next step was my first few deposits (when i turned 18), the odd £5 and £10 here and there on Sky, i well and truly got hooked when i placed 6th in a £500 Bounty Hunter, which provided a very good night out the following week may i add.
Once i started university i started messing about with poker not taking it to serious on Sky and a few other Poker websites. Basically i thought i was Tom Dwan on High stakes poker at NL4. Thinking i was tricky, when at NL4 there is no need. So 3 weeks ago i came back to Sky to see £3 in my account, so i took it into a cash game, and doubled my roll, from then i vowed to take the game serious and do anything to build a decent roll. 3 weeks on and £60 richer i'm still sticking to those words. Hopefully one day i can be playing at the highest stakes on the website.

What does "Swog" stand for? "Sealed With Own Goal"?

When i was starting out i played at 1 or 2 other websites, to try them out, nothing like SKY. Its Sky from now on..... 'Swog' was a nickname i got at school it has no meaning lol.

you've taken the first step to build a bankroll. as a young person you'll need to build a sizeable bankroll in readiness for your student loan repayments, increased pension contributions and old age care costs.

You have to register on the thread, look & see Examples, & in the three tournies, invovles a bit of multi-tabling [3], but nothing a maths degree aint seen before, it's alot of fun, but may take a bit of practice if you not m/tabled before!!

Hitman: I have already applied for tonights DTD.
The finishing positions top ten are awarded points, then a team Table compiled, here are reaults so far, & last months table, Variance hasna been kind to us so far, but WE ARE Improving!!
