high roller blackjack player tries poker above br means

as a average poker player i like to have a gamble at poker now and again , i do know about bankroll management  , varients and not playing out of depth if you wanna make profit , so i bought into a £1 £2 table with £30 !!! glitterbabe and a few other usual suspects were there so i knew i would be outplayed 99% of the time so i done a tikay and played tighter than a ducks bottom !!! , i actually thought right il look at the sky bulit in hand rater ( eg on fire fold em check em etc and only played pairs and on fire hands !!! and every hand i played in this manner i won , even managed to trap glitterbabe with a straight to his top 2 pair aaqq , and took £100 off him , so after a few more hands i eventually left over £300 up from my initial £30 buy in , varients were not a factor as i was always in front everyhand i won , i had no bad beats at all and didnt put a bad beat on anyone else ........
just wondering how often this has happened for other players , no bad beats for anyone in a 10x up session ???

    just after the spt grand final at dtd when i got home managed to spin a tenner into just over £400 in a couple days  ( played maybe 8 hours altogeth)  playing mainly HU and PLO

    a nice lil touch i find it ok to take shots now n then aslong as losing £30 doesnt affect u in anyway tilt etc and chasing it back i hope u realise 9 out of 10 times u will lose this £30 just so u know welldone tho a nice win and happy xmas to u aswell from steve aka idonkcallu :)

    Variance isnt just ur bad beats OP, it is also getting hands when others get something to go with u. Although you got in good it still means u ran well because if variance hit ya u could have lost it. Good variance is also ur hands holding, u may have played perfect but still variance was part of it :) 

    wouldnt recommend this strategy but as a 1 off well done very nice result. try not to do it too often because u will end up giving it all back maybe some more.

    yeah good comment , only play poker when i have a big win on skyvegas ,i  havnt got the skill or patience to play poker for a living make all my money on blackjack , made over £4000 last week and cashed it in for xmas b4 i have a inevitable bad run !!! been very lucky or skillful ...lol started with £500

    Very nice sick braggage that, more degen then poker too :P 

    you may have the skill for poker maybe if u set aside an amount and start with cash/tourneys whatever ur preferred router is and you never know you may do better then BJ. if all else fails you have BJ to fall back on

    thats pretty sick though especially at blackjack whether luck or skill thats awesome (slightly jelous lol)
