Hi mate. Was me who folded the QQ pre and was totally on my reads of you. put you on a big PP and JJ was the very bottom of that range so with only a small amount invested i thought whats the point of gambling that you had JJ or fliping v AK at best ? Obvi v a unknown player i snap call but v my reads on you off playing and watching your game on tv i thought fold was easily the best option there. We carnt be right all the time mate and nh btw if i didnt say then.
I also think this is a fantastic idea from Dohhhhhh and wd to sky for following it up, players make loads of mistakes when playing long sessions even very small ones what might pass under the radar on a normal mastercash show but when showing every hand played it gives a real insight into how the game works and i for one will love watching it.
Sorry its taken me so long to reply but here is a summary:
We HAD to test the poker from 1pm- 3pm so the relevant teams were here to deal with the problems. Going forward we are hoping to show the cash hands throughout the night and possible in short burst during the day.
The music- each to their own. We cannot play commercial tracks due to our teleshopping license and you dont even want to know how much it costs to play those type of tracks out on a channel! The track is 30 minutes in length its not ideal but it was used for testing. Once we move we will be given several new tracks to use. We were aware it was quite, but it is also due to the fact that we are playing out of an analogue not digital studio. This will all change with the move
At the moment we can only focus on 1 Master Cash table and we simple select the one that has the most action 30 minutes before we go live. In the New Year we are developing the software so if the table drops to 3 players it will automatically switch to another busier table or we just change tables every 15 minutes for example.
There should have been a message that came up in the chat box to make the players aware that their table would be on 865/ Stream from 1pm. If not then I will see why not.
The image between the hands has to be there as the console needs to load the next hand. On the live shows we throw back to the talent in the studio, with the automated we obviously do not have this luxury.
When we had technical issues an old 'slate' was put up showing people like Kara Scott, it amused me from my sick bed, but it was all transmission could find as a short filler. Going forward we will edit something else should be have more problems.
As previously mentions we are moving to a new studio at the end of January/ early February. This includes a major overhaul of the poker console so we shouldn't have any technical problems. Once we are established we will run further tests and then launch this on air.

Another thing I noticed while viewing it from a pc was it looked slightly 'out of focus'. Not sure if that was just my pc, my hangover, or the actual tv screen view.

It was the same image quality compared to our usual output. Which before someone says it, it isnt great, but to reiterate will improve when we move studios
As much as Dohhhhhhh would like to get credit for this it was something that was actually planned a few years back and some work had been done. We just decided to not prioritise it until now

I think this is a great idea maybe it could transfer over to S n G tourneys just an idea, also would it be possible to maybe have a chat and text bar on the screen people could discuss hands as they are being played would be nice to hear opinions on whats going on, and what could be done differently in hand for hand situations. Lets face it we all fancy ourselves as poker wizz kids even though its far from the truth. dont know if this would be do-able but i think the chat thing would really bring people over what you think.

yeah thats why i wouldnt be sure if it could be done...........but they do it on the music channels and the dating channels all day long, so there must be a way because they do it all day at all times of the day. maybe a strict set of rules where people can loose their chat privelage after 2 stikes maybe. ooooooor sum kind of vetting period people have to give abit more info phone number, email address, ip address, etc that way people are less likely to go of the rails. like i say just an idea and also glad you like my tikay post
