Finalllly got round to signing up to SP. Been looking into doing it for a while as SP offers 6 max poker and thats something i really want to try and concentrate on. Used to play alot on Ladbrokes 5-6 years ago when there was a very good community spirit there and its something that appears to be the case on SP. Been playing a bit of B365 but the iPoker software is a bit grim IMO.

Got £11 in tournament tokens to lose very quickly before i deposit some real wonga so whats a decent tournament to play?! I mainly play small stakes MTT's but dont mind if they are super duper turbo's or decent structure's as happy to mix it up. Im currently dealing at a poker room locally so picked up more knowledge ( i thought i knew it all before! ) and play bigger tourny's live. Def enjoy live poker more, but trying to get back into the online scene...

    Hi and welcome kevlaar

    I'd Suggest 4pm BH if your available, firstly there will be loads of runners so the potential of you making some good money if u go deep, also you dont have to cash to make a profit just take a few bounties(knock people out)

    Thats at a quick glance if your not a fan of bounties i can have another look, i am not but if i had a free £11 entry id probably play that beacause its the best value.

    Also forgot to mention you may want to have more then 1 free etry. if you want to go down this route i'd play £2.20 Deepstack or if u prefer faster structure there are loads of £1.10-£3.30 speed tourneys although most are rebuys. Also on that note if u want a cheap night on a monday there is the DTD which is 2x £2.20 tourneys + £1.10 all deepstacks and if you look out for the thread tomorrow if you last longest of around 100 players there are loads of prizes on offer sometimes £55 primo seat or £22 Super BH and so on.

    Thanks for the welcomes and advice. Had to shoot out after my post as been helping my nan, with the rest oft he family for her move tomorrow. Not that i can do too much as had surgery recently and am off work because of it. Will look to get playing some games either now or tomorrow around 10am.

    I'm pretty sure that the tournament tokens can only be used once so don't enter a one pound tournie as it will count as using the entire lot.

    The 11£BH @ 9.30 will have the biggest potential for a big score.

    If not then the 11£ 500GTDs which are on at like 10/11 at night would be good too.

    I didn't wait.

    Ive gone for the £3.30 Speed thing which started 15 mins ago ... Ive been given 2 x 3.30 tokens and 2 x 2.20 tokens which i can use all in one or individually or together but if i was to reg for a £1 event then i'd lose some value. Thought i'd get use to the software and how it all works on a new skin so playing this to get a feel for it all. Used to bigger fields (for example was playing the $1 R/B $1000 G on iPoker skin and there was over 400 runners!) but hoping to concentrate more and make the most of getting the better of smaller fields.

    Best of luck at the tables.

    ah thats ok then I didn't realise they were multiple tokens.

    the forum DTD on a Monday is based on 2.20 tournies and they attract fields of 150-200 runners.

    Well a 3rd position and over £30 is a good start! Might retire now ;) Got 6 league points ... can someone explain the points or give me a link to work with to read all about it.
