Hi folks,
what a windy day today (weather wise). Feeling very wintery today. Stay in, keep warm and play some poker! We certainly have some good poker coming your way tonight!
Kicking off at 8pm is the 15k Sky Sports Bounty Hunter and the 5k Sky Roller. We will be following hands from both tourneys tonight, and helping you with your game is Rupinder Bedi, fresh from his GUKPT 4th place cash in Blackpool.
Please get your questions in for him, especially wit regards to tournament strategy on the forum or email:
skyopen@bskyb.com
So...some topics for us all to discuss this evening..
1. When did you feel most tilted at the poker table? Has it been whilst playing live, or online? Have you ever had anyone really go a bit 'Hellmuth' at you at the poker table?
At live events, how do you cope with the mounting pressure as you get closer to final tables?
2. What are you grateful for today!?
Super happy to join you all later, love following these tourney's on a thursday. Get lots of questions in for Rupinder and Tikay, enjoy the show and GL on the tables
A xx

Thank goodness you've arrived Anna, I'm getting battered by Santa's Grotto stuff here.
[ ] I love Santa.
The only time ive seen anyone go Hellmuth on anyone is actually me on a few occassions. the worst one was probably in a pub game. Now most of these people where my mates but a few where new commers. A regular raises from UTG and a new player called. He claimed he was an experianced player just handnt played in the pub before. And going by how he was playing till this hand that all made sense. im in the cutoff and look down at Aces and i re-raise 3 times the regulars raise. The reg folds and the newcommer flats, flop K84 he checks i shove, he calls with 72 no draw. Turn 7 river 7. I went a little hellmuth to be fair.
i've only really played about 20 MTT's and made final table 3 times, it doesnt really affect me i just play my natural game unless others are tightening and i have a stack i will play more aggressive.
Family, I have a roof over my head, Friends, that poker isnt illegal in uk
Have a good show guys sorry bit long winded

Just wanted to say a big congratulations to Splashies for making it to the final of the HUs championship! (the other semi-final has yet to be played) And a big thank you to everyone being organised and making it run as smooth as possible.
1. When did you feel most tilted at the poker table?
The only live I've ever played has been home games for a bit of fun so no tilting there. I do obviously get a bit tilted by players making shockingly bad calls and outdrawing me but we all know we want them to make these shockingly bad calls. The thing that probably tilts me more is when I'm say 4tabling cash and have been card dead for AGES!
I was really grateful for the AA guy that came to my rescue tonight (no I'm not an alcoholic)... I broke down on the motorway tonight on the way home from work so was stood there in the freezing cold, strong winds and pouring rain for 30 mins so was REALLY grateful when I seen his van coming!
depends on which side off sofa i sit on, if the left side then i tilt to the left and if right side then i tilt that way
Its the first time I've played this tournament and definitely had opportunities to go out on the very first hand !
Tikay mentioned you're an online MTT grinder, how many can you play at one time before you think it affects the quality of your play? I find it really easy multi-tabling cash because my stack is ALWAYS 100BBs or more, but I find it a nightmare when I'm multi-tabling MTTs you gotta try and keep track or stack size in relation to blinds, number of people left, when blinds increase, how far is the bubble etc. How on earth do you keep track of all that on say 8+ tables... just practice? any tips?
P.S. What's your username on Sky? Didn't realise you played in the UKOPS.
Evening All.
Nug82 here, just to say thank you for playing my hand. AJ v AK.
After the turn he checked I raised 330 to try to represent the Q, got called for felt the he had this.
Can not complain as I only paid £1.60 to enter via Sat.
Out Now ;-(
Loving the show
