Sunday's live show with James & Carlo (***OFFICIAL THREAD***)

Hello again...

Live coverage of the £8,000 Sunday Roller begins on channel 865 at 9pm. We'll also be keeping tabs on Primo and the £50,000 UKOPS Semi. And Dan the Producer has decided this evening's show should have a theme; he's decreed that tonight is..."Carlo Night!"

So, following the success of the 'Ask tikay' segment on a recent programme, I'm now inviting you to:

QUIZ CARLO

Please throw your poker-related questions in Signore Citrone's general direction. Tournament strategy? You got it. Hints and tips for live play? You betcha. Long-winded anecdotes about Hold'em hands from 2002? Obviously! But please keep questions regarding body-building, tanning, fast cars and loose women to a minimum ;-)

Post away in this thread, or e-mail skyopen@bskyb.com

Now, hose...me...down...

    HI Guys,
Have a good show!  Question for Carlo....Do you have a "table persona" i.e. one that differs from your persona on the TV/real life?  Has it changed much over the course of your poker career?
Question for James..... Oakland or Green Bay?   Currently watching Saints v Titans with some Yanks and gotta say "fat blokes for the win!!!" Altho referees with mikes should be mandatory for the premiership!!  Only watching as the yanks have promised to play poker when game is over!!!!
    pad

    Carlo

What would be your equivalent of a Cup Final in Poker?

Do WSOP and EPT events still have the prestige?

Does Online Poker give you as big a buzz, or is it too much like work?

Have you ever lost it! in the chat box?

Don't need to wish you both a good show cos it will be!

The first time I saw Carlo on the TV he was playing one of those single table knock out tournaments that TV used to love.  He was in a hand with the Devilfish and holding eights.  Ulliot shoved over the top of Carlo's raise with AQ.  Immediately at this point the commentator said 'Well this decision will take a level or two.'  Sure enough after two bottles of water you made the correct call and of course Devilfish binked.

It's fair to say you used to have a reputation as a slow methodical player but have quickened up substantially.  Do  think this is down to more experience, more willingness to gamble in even money situations or a conscious effort to go with your initial feeling in a given situation?
