hi tikay and sarah after 3 years playing on sky i,ve just broken even i play on average 4 hours a day a mix of tournys and small cash is this good play or should i be in profit
Well I'd say it depends on what you wanna get out of the game. If you wanna get rich then obviously it's not good lol, but if it's just a hobby, you've had a hobby for 3 years and it hasn't got you a penny.
If you're hobby was reading, going to concerts, going to the movies etc, it would cost you ALOT more than nothing to do that for 3 years, so count yourself lucky you are doing something you enjoy (I assume you do) for free. That's how I see it for myself by the way.
Like Greg Raymer said most people pay to be entertained, some get their entertainment for free and some even get paid to be entertained. Middle ground isn't a bad position.

Not sure about your cash results on Sky, but you have made a decent profit 2.3k in MTT's.
Your ROI is 19% in MTT's with an average profit of £1 per game, so if you have broke even overall, then I presume most of your losses have been on the cash tables.
Nice stats in MTT's so I would keep it going there and just try to improve on your cash game.

You're looking at this the wrong way:
1) What you do have is three years of poker experience. This is vital for making your game better over the coming years. Like all of us you would have started like Bambi on the frozen lake, making plenty of mistakes and bad plays. Do not underestimate the value of experience.
2) You're a break even player. This is an achievement. Nearly everyone starts off as a losing player in poker. Most people remain so. You're already ahead of so many players if I was you I would see this as progress and something to really build on.
3) You've gotten three years of recreational playing and entertainment for free. This is fab IMO, you try getting three years of a hobby for free in any other field.
I don't think there's a real problem here. If you want to increase your progress in poker there are plenty of training sites/forums etc to really work on your game but I certainly wouldn't be too hard on myself if I was you.

Fantastic reply tommy mate.
You speak alot of sense here and i couldnt agree more with what you have said.
Tommy has hit the nail on the head here. Being a breakeven player is probably ahead of 70-80pc of the poker playing community is a very good achievemnet.
