Sunday night live with Sarah C and tikay ******official show thread*****

Tis the season to be jolly and tis my last show of the year!  Since tikay is refusing point blank to acknowledge the C word (the 9 letter one) I thought we'd look ahead to 2012 tonight with a simple question: 
What are your poker goals for 2012? 

Also tonight:  
Ask tikay tis one of our busiest threads so whatever your question whether it be on tournament strategy, on omaha or a bug bear on the bounty hunter, let us know we'll get it answered by the living legend that is Tony tikay Kendall. 

And finally: in amongst the fun and games of Newcastle last week we had a bit of pub quiz off, so for a bit of fun tonight let's have a christmas quiz off, give us your favourite pub quiz question AND hint at the answer in a crossword style to get us scratching our heads between hands... 

For example:

Who is the shortest player in the Premier league?
HINT:  Shares his name with a famous musician

We've got live coverage of the 8,000 sunday roller from 9pm and we'll be looking in on the Primo too, GL on the tables, see you then!

       My Poker Goals for 2012 are


       1. To play more Live Poker than i have been.

       2. To reach a FT of a ME

       3. To Qualify for an SPT (or win enough on cash to be able to comfortably buy-in Direct)

    Hint - First name is Richard

    Poker goals for 2012

    Put more time and effort in, also to the learning side and play more in my local pub league for live practise
    I,ll probably  play more satelites for bigger events and hope to  run well in the Blackpool SPT in June which i,m playing thx to Tikay sorting out my prize for winning a forum comp

    Hi Sarah and Albert Steptoe............ Oops Sorry Tikay! :)))

    Here is my list of Poker Goals for 2012:

    1) To start playing Live Poker again.

    2) Win another 8pm Main Event.

    3) Get another couple of entries on my Hendon Mob Database Page.

    4) Moan a lot less (That I will find very difficult in doing lol!)

    5) If asked ever again to do one without doubt a far far far far far BETTER "My Name is" Interview because mine is simply cringeworthy  - FACT!!.

    6) Try somehow to Improve my overall game.

    7) Try and be a lot happier person playing Poker which certainly ain't been the case in the last year.

    8) Start winning again!.

    And finally something non-poker related:

    9) Lancashire to retain Cricket's County Championship and Yorkshire to still remain in Division 2 hopefully forever! :))))

    Happy 25th December day to the both of you and bahhhhhhhhhh humbug!!

    My goals for 2012 are:

    1. Qualify for SPT Blackpool (will be my first SPT)

    2. Move out of the micro stakes at cash (I know that will come within the first few months of the year)

    Hi Tikay and Sarah,

    I have a question for Tikay, i have been successfully playing DYM's on Sky for a couple of years, but am now getting a bit bored of the format. Sky recently introduced TYM's but these are currently not popular as they take longer to fill 9 handed.

    Any chance of introducing 321's these would be 6 handed with a treble up for first, double up for second and money back for third. 

    I am of the opinion that these would be very popular and would also include an element of heads up play. The variance would still be less than a standard sit n go as you would get your money back for third.

    Ask Tikay:

    Which presenter has the best skills in your opinion? Hartigan, Orford, Fowles or Champion (possibly a tricky one to answer as Sarah's doing the show lol)

    Also which regular analyst has the best skills (excluding yourself obviously)? Trev, Carlo, Frazer etc

    You can change it to 'who would you find the hardest to play' if you prefer as it is quite subjective.

    P.S. Whatever happened to Ed Giddins?? He was a good analyst... Was his wage bill too high after he shot to fame on that reality show where he went on holiday to Africa? lol

    Goal for 2012

    Despite being a rec player - to actually make some money - while still playing while asleep / drunk / busy / playing on the mobile

    Now I know if I cut any of the above out I'd have a chance - but knowing me that's not possible - so that's my challenge - and my weakness
