The blinds rise roughly 3x as quickly in the mini as they do in the main. What is the point of having a double stack if the blinds are also double from the start, rising to treble before the first break?

fwiw, i quite like the mini open structures and am happy for them to stay as they are
Well, it's hardly the 10% buy-in equivalent of the ME that the Minis were supposed to be. It's almost a turbo, calling it a double stack is misleading, you only start with 100BB, the ME starts with 200BB.
Even the £1.10 Deepstack in the DTD, you start with 5k and 10/20 blinds which is a FAR better structure despite being much less notorious... good job I never play this tourney lol
