HIGHLIGHTS/LOWLIGHTS OF 2011

Hi guys, just a quick look back at the year at my poker highlights and want to know yours!!

even though im £950 down for the year according to sharkscope (this is manly due to i only play online £5.50 scaries for fun with work mates and mess around)

i am a whole £24 up if you only count my mtts :)

anyway my highlights from 2011 were :-

1 - turning a primo free entry into £350 for a 8th place!!

2- winning a $10k gtd for $3.8k (on another site sorry guys)

3 - winning a few small live events in local casino for a few hundred each


lowlights :-

1 - coming home drunk 1 night and blowing a £600 roll vs redmond on the £210 stt heads up games

2 - teaching the missus how to play, then had to listen to her brag on how she outlasted me and cashed in her 1st ever live game when i took her to a live game :(


even though im down on sky this year, its been a great year with you guys and im over £2k up if you include live games.

hope you all have a great xmas, and ill see you all in 2012 and hopefully the cardiff spt!!

    1. My dad bragging hes better than me for outlasting me in UKIPT;s and getting to play with Chris Moneymaker

    1. Winning university poker league
    2. Qualifying for first SPT

    Lowlights:
    1. Performance in said SPT
    2. Sharkscope graph being destroyed by free entry to the Roller

    Highlight:
    1. Playing first SPT(DTD Final) 
    2. Back to back runner ups in rebuy open main 2 weeks running
    3. playing live alot more and generally quite confident i have a big edge(where i have played)

    Lowlights: 
    1. Near miss at SPT went out just before bubble lost big flip QQ v AK which would have put me among chip leaders
    2. Need to build a bankroll again as i've had to withdraw any good runs/wins

    highlights:

    Winning an SPT event, chopping a GUKPT side event. 15 main event final tables on skypoker including 6 primo. 

    lowlights:

    Stone bubbled 10k vegas package, bubbled TSP package, my performances in every other SPT. my results in the tournies i played in vegas.

    Getting into TSP
    GUKPT Walsall FT
    Winning a VLV Package
    Getting offered an analyst position on Sky.

    Lows
    Triple barrel bluff on GUKPT Walsall FT

    Highlights -   

    Getting together with Toby, Gary, Denis, and getting Team51 off the ground.
                         
    Binking Back-to-back Rollers and a few nice Tournaments on Sky.



    Lowlights -

    errr ............. nope can't think of any.

    Highlights:

    Didnt have any which has annoyed me big style!.

    Lowlights:

    Far too many to mention :(

    What I want out of 2012:

    1) Not to have a torrid 18 months on the Poker Tables.
    2) Start playing live Poker again hopefully SPT Cardiff if Not defo SPT Blackpool.
    3) Play a **** sight lot better.
    4) Be a more nicer approachable person (Without doubt the one thing I will still find hard to do especially if I am im Mr Grumpy Mode!)
    5) Probably Not to Align myself with one of these "Teams" as they cause me a lot of aggro which I don't want.
    6) Most important thing start winning again and run a lot better.

    THAT IS ALL!!!!!
