Away Players...

Santa's Grotto Chip Leader at the moment (Half an hour in) has been on a table with 5 away players for most of the tournament, saw this as his chip stack was going up by 1.5bb every single hand and decided to rail him briefly. Might as well have given him 15k chips and everyone else 2k.

Make it so you can't register so early in freerolls, please... Get rid of these away players.

    I sympathise with you!
I got knocked out playing on a table with 3 aways always seems the three actually at the table get premier hands every time!
    7's v j's 10's v Aces j's & k's etc
But to be fair some players have a genuine reason for being away and variance is with you one day and against the next
I hope the introduction of late Reg will make things better!

But it's hardly fair when one person gets a table full of away players and has over 15k chips before he has to actually play a hand properly, without any possibility of being knocked out, whereas everyone else risks going out early and still doesn't get anywhere near to having as many chips.

I agree with Pingu, make it reg. 1hr before or something as it spoils the game!

I normally get ko'd refusing to let others nick the blinds :(

think his point was whys it fair that some 1 gets a free run at a tables chips yet on another someones got to work for them?? Then again?? Potentially more donks will get through with a nice stack?? ATM time :)

yes but it works both ways, one day that will be you with the 5 away players.

Even if people are winning all the blinds, its dozens of people less contesting for the prizepool (which is super top heavy)

Less people = better chance of winning, 1 person with their chips is easier to overcome than 5 people with them spread out

Away players are the easiest to beat!

As Coxy says, it means there are less players in the tourney which is good!

Sky chose just about the worst day possible to run the freeroll, EVERYBODY was out last night...
