£20,000 Bounty Hunter - Technical Problems - Player's View

I would like a refund please.

it was first noted (on the forum) that the problem existed at 9pm
my table soon changed to a shove all-in game, like russian roulette.
i asked on the forum, whilst still in the game, for a refund.
contacted customer services but in a queue

the solution proposed properly corrects the problem for those hanging in the game but it doesn't redress the problem for those knocked out from 9pm until the game was abandoned.

i ask that sky poker credit the £33 back to those knocked out in this timeframe.

TOTALLY AGREE, IF THEY DO NOT THEN SKY SHOULD BE REPORTED TO SOME SORT OF AUTHORITY, I SEE DANTB10 DID OK,

EVERYONE SHOULD GET £33 BACK AND SKY SHOULD HAVE STUMPED UP THE BOUNTIES ALREADY PAID OUT OF THEIR FEES

mORE REASON TO MOVE TO BETFAIR

what a pile of tut tut i satellited in for 1.60 into the semi then got through that.
I got a head so in theory i made a tenner but for the hard slog i had to do to get there and in theory
i still took 33 quid to the table they should refund me this

Please skypoker announce a refund to all those who were knocked out after the problem commenced.  A refund to those knocked out from 9pm until the game was abandoned.  The settlement to those still in the game at the time of abandonment remains as announced.  i believe that the service offered failed at 9pm.

our table had problems 15 mins b4 1st break i bought direct in for the 33 quid and settled in to play for the night this wasnt a £5 or £2.30 b hunter   even our lass bought in direct as THIS WAS  A SPECAIL TOURNEY and that was a good part of her bank roll and to be not able to play is poor IF SKY DO NOT REFUND
how can they not refund all players i went out with someone jamming in for 12k with 6 high I DID NOT BUY INTO A £33 RUSSIAN ROULETTE
A REFUND SHOULD HAPPEN OR AT LEAST A £33 TOKEN TO BUY INTO NEXT WEEKS B HUNTER
OR CREAT A £33 B HUNTER FOR TOMO NIGHT

    This is completely unacceptable.

There were so many people affected by tonights problems that the tourney was in no way run fairly. How can Sky justify paying out all that were left and not reimburse the many affected players who were disabled by the long delays.

Surely, everyone who entered bought into a tournament for £33 and expected it to be run fairly? It was far from fair yet some people will share the prizefund and some wont, it appears. Hundreds of players simply had no chance to participate fairly in this shambles of a competition and therfore should be reimbursed accordingly. There can be no other satisfactory outcome.

Lets hope your follow up comments tomorrow reflect the tournament properly and the correct outcome is reached.

    Hi everyone

Please again accept our apologies for this.

Just to reiterate, we have settled and paid out fully the tournament in as fair a way as we can asap. This does not mean it is the end of it, we will be doing further things to resolve this as best we can. Naturally we will be investigating this fully overnight and in the morning and will provide a further update then.

Do please bear with us whilst we look into the detail on what happened, how people were affected and next steps. As you might imagine, each case is unique and we need time to look into them.

Unfortunately, we cannot provide responses to individual cases on the forum.

Finally, please remember we do want to deal with this as fairly as we can.

Again, we will follow up in the morning.

    Thanks
    Sky Poker

surely it makes more sense to just look who was still in the tournament when the problems started and refund them?

if its all individual does that mean i have to email sky to complain or will you automatically be assessing my 'individual' circumstances?

on many levels this could be dealt with far better imo

I had this problem straight from 8pm until my exit at about 8:35,  my hands were going horribly slow and i was missing a lot of them.

It was not my computer/connections fault, they were both fine before and after tplaying in the Main Event.

I want my money back too...

Im afraid skys response is unacceptable. They are penalising the technically correct players who sit tight in the first hour in favour of the bounty tart some of whom get lucky and end up with a big stack. Personally I was sitting comfortably after the first hour playing to plan, within 45 mins it was an all in donkfest. Sky have totally messed this up and anyone who was knocked out after 9 who has suffered a financial loss should be refunded in full or be compensated in some other way eg get extra cash for points.

read 3 posts of yours having a go @ skys settlement for Dan last night.....

He was in a gr8 position to win 3 grand but had to settle for next to nothing in comparison.

I think he (and others in the top 10) has more right to be angry at the outcome than most!!!!
