Hi all - now that we have completed our investigations, it is easier for customer care to deal with any queries people might have about their specific case. Many have been dealt with, however, if you have any queries, please do contact them. Thanks Sky Poker

Do you only recieve a refund if you complain directly to customer services?

Twice I entered a satalite at £7.20 a shot but failed to qualify. However, really wanting to be in this huge tournie, I bit the bullet and paid the £33 entry fee as well, my biggest MTT fee ever, so in effect it cost me 47 quid.

Not for one moment do I expect my satalite fees re-imbursed as I played those in good faith and lost them in good faith. However, today I expected Sky to refund the £33 entry fee into my a/c and they have not.

SKY....It is not for you to choose who to refund and who not...the Tournie was NOT played in good faith and I will be dammed if I am going to ask you for a refund as it should be automatic! (I went out at 21.48 for the record)

I have withdrawn my bankroll and I will not play another game on Skypoker until everybody is treated fairly and equally (which is a shame as I think you run a really good poker site)

I have now had my buy in refunded. Thank you.

Thats the second tourney ive played thats gone completely pear shaped due to technical faults on sky. Its a shame that the site isnt brought up to date like most other competitors. How do Sky ever intend to attract new players if their site simply cannot handle the traffic of a large, well 800 runner, tourneys? Other sites who have far superior interfaces and update their software daily seem to never have a problem with their tourneys which in some cases hold over 20k runners.
Sky has a great community base, better than any other poker site bar none, but lets itself down dramatically by having stoneage software. Move with the times Sky and create a great interface to go with a fabulous community.

Where's the logic in that? It'll take you 2 minutes to scroll down, click the "Contact us" button, and ask them to reimburse you for the tournament. Looks like they're more than happy to reimburse people if they ask, which is reasonable. Your £33, not mine.

I felt the same way Elevation, but dont cut your nose off, pick up the phone and speak to an advisor. There very helpful and you will get your £33 back. You never know, it might be that £33 that wions you your next 1st place!!

Just called and had my buy-in refunded by Sky Adam on the priority line - thank you.

(Although didn't let me keep my bounty prize, that's fair enough).

Must admit I am very frustrated about this and emailed them accordingly.  I satelitted in at £7.20 won a bounty of £11.25 and was in the top half of the field when the problems were occuring.  Eventually because of the blinds getting so high it was like russian roulette so had to go all in like pretty much everyone else was doing and got knocked out.  I came out winning £4.05 but feel cheated as I was in a very nice position at the time.  Not sure If I should be chasing them for a refund as I am effectively up on the deal but still doesnt sit right with me.

Silly Question but what happened to the rake from sattelites for a tournament that never finished?

Wouldn't it be a nice gesture if Sky put the rake into a freeroll and invited all who should have taken part to play?

Skypoker has resolved my issue and I have received my refund. They had sent me a message but I did not realise.

    Thankyou Skypoker. (and OCD_man)
