This is fine, but yet again small stakes ie lower points earners completely blanked, (as they are in the happy hour cash promotion) Look after the people with bigger bank rolls forget the guys who love to play but cannot afford the bigger buy ins................
I'll be worse off as a result of these changes, it looks like it's bad news for MTT players like myself who don't earn many points. In December I've earned 550 points . That's worth £5.00 under the old scheme, with the new method that'll drop to £4.40, a reduction of 12%. In November I just managed to reach 1,000 and earned £15.00 All that will earn me in future is £10.00, a reduction of 33%. Posted by GaryQQQ
Yup misleading Original Post imo, got my hopes up!

sorry, but obviously u have not looked properly. i am about to make my first priority club. i will in futrue get less for the same ammount.. before i wud get 25% extra for 10k paying 325 now 280. how is this better
I don't think it's too bad, tbh. Has it's advantages and disadvantages. Anyone getting between 7k and 10k points will get more, I think priority club will get more too, anyone who doesn't quite get enough points for the next tier will get more, but you get less if you only just scrape enough points on the final day of the month for the next tier. I guess people are just so used to scraping enough points on the last day of the month that you all automatically see it as "I'm losing this much".
My C4P: Oct 11 - 235 C4P, only just signed up
Nov 11 - 504 C4P, old system gave £5, new system would give me £4.03
Dec 11 - 938 C4P so far, old system gave £5, new system would give me £7.50 if I didn't get another point for the rest of the month.
I guess it gives people more incentive to keep playing on the last day of the month if they've reached one tier, but have no chance of reaching the next one, because now there's a cash difference between having 3,400 points and 3,600 points, for instance.
Even though it'll probably cost me a few quid, it's probably not a bad move by sky, and can see the benefits for other people. We'll see how it goes, but my glass is half full.
Well, for a low stakes MTT specialist like myself C4P earnings are insignificant, nearly all profit is made at the tables. I might be slightly worse off some months as a result of the changes, but it's such a small sum it'll make no noticable difference to my bottom line.
At month end I'll have no longer have the incentive to try and reach the next tier, so I may play a less than I have before when I've been chasing points for that reason.
The players who may feel they're losing out the most are those in the 250-499 point bracket, they go from a freeroll ticket to nothing.
right so where u used to get £15 for 1000, u STILL would get £15 for 1999 points, in the new system for 1999 points you would get 19.99 old system 5k points = £100 5999 points = £100 ....new system 5999 points = £107.98 how many times have u just fallen short of the 'old' C4P milestones then just 'lose' the excess points, with the new system every point has a value Posted by sikas
Funny how blinded people are
5000 points - old system - £100, new system - £90
5999 points - old system - £100, new system - £107.98
It probably works out the same long term. (maybe slightly worse)

Looks good if you earn 10k+ a month tho.

Yup, big +1
I will explain in another thread...
Oct 11 - 235 C4P, only just signed up
very much half-empty
peter being the poorer of the brothers
eg.
old system
1000 = £15
now
1500 = £15
emmm maybe it just levels off inbetween so the jumps ain't so big
It may be a good idea to edit you post as trying to get around the profaity filter does break the forum rules
I am sure if a mod sees it they will change it if you don't
