If more people play them, then maybe there will be more satellites, but there is not enough liquidity at present to justify increasing the number of satellites.

Hope to see you in Manchester, good luck in qualifying.

The expectation was that only 10 players would be through as 10 guaranteed to qualify each weekend. It is quite a big buy in for lots of sky players so I don't think the expectation would of been for vast numbers of players to be qualifying via sats. Lots of poker players tend to plan things late so I wouldn't be surprised if the last sat had more than the guaranteed seats.
Also, I would expect lots of the UK regs would buy in direct given the buy in/guarantee.

hi matt. my problem is that your saying lots of uk regs will buyin direct.thats fine.i understand that.but what about the little people like me that has played and followed sky for years ? am I supposed to just go away ? what about the people that have a job to go to everyday.starting sats at 9.45 pm then having a 70 min late reg ? also it isn't really a tour anymore is it. Manchester to brighton to Manchester to brighton. what happened to all the other stops like back in the day ? im not trying to pee people off but its no wnder sky are losing people.im going to have to look at other sites like genting or Grosvenor, just annoyed people like me don't matter no more.

No one is saying you should go away. The sats have been set up like they have (where people cant play them for cash) to try and get as many unique entries as possible which is to help players like you. A lot of players want to satellite into the main sat each night so you need to set up the sats like they have to allow players to play a satellite into the later game. Maybe the late reg should be shorter and a faster structure but then potentially people will complain that the structure is too fast.

Regarding locations, there are limited venues that the tour can go to due to existing agreements casinos have with online providers. The tour went to Glasgow, Nottingham, Brighton, Manchester and Las Vegas so it has had a reasonable spread of venues.

There is always turnover with players as players stop playing/swap sites and I don't know the numbers but I wasn't aware that sky was losing people.
