Talk to DOHx7 about Heads up on Sky Poker....

This isnt a TP, stage 2 specific thread, as the sng's arent compulsory, however, its a game Ive started playing alot recently, in various forms, and I really enjoy the action.

Its gonna be really hard to post hands and ask for opinions, as HU is obviously very player specific, and your reads are everything.

What I wanna talk about is game selection,.

Theres HU cash tables, SNG HU tables, and Turbo SNG HU tables.

Where's the value?? Has anyone had any experience in this area? Ive been playing NL20 HU, and £10/20 HU Turbo sng.....

Has anyone any real experience at these? I find with 2 solid players, the sng's often come down to a race/ smash n bash all in when the blinds get big. But surely when theres 2 solid players at a HU cash table, the rake's gonna be the winner? I normally play NL50, but dropped to NL20 as im new to HU (and there isnt anything inbetween? why?)

Im an agro player, not scared to put it all in with nothing, Reckon I can change gears pretty readily, and this is ofte my downfall in ring games, making 1 guy fold has gotta be easier than making 5 fold.

Had moderate success so far, and really enjoy it.

    well done again m8y in the tp comp ,

    blackfish sent me a pm recently ,

    i know he wont mind me talking about  it,
     
    he has a good poker head,

    he was looking to know about my sharkscope stats ,

    and how i did so well ,

    this is not a brag about my game,

    just to say i love the way good players like you and blackfish,
     
    and others never want to stop learning ,

    more and more about the game ,

    well what i would  do above regarding the hu ,

    is focus in on micro/lower and build up.

    you will learn as you go along,

    because you do really want to learn and  be the total player !

    rover and out you are a top man doh !

    ps. i am presently doing above structure with omaha double ups micro .

    m8 u gotta stick 2 the 10 20 stt game but not the turbo.... the rake 2 high on the cash game 2 make any real profit and wheres our proper mtt heads up torn sky???
