I got a seat through the sats and would like to play on friday do i need to inform CC or just turn up and if so what would be a good time to get there

    Hi Cheezy @weecheez1

    Just turn up on Friday, no need to do anything else mate. Once you arrive, you need to Register at the Tournament Desk. If in doubt, come see me (I should be there from about 1pm) & I'll get you sorted.

    It starts at 4pm on Friday (2pm on Saturday), so any time before 4pm ideally.

    If you want to maybe meet a few of the regulars for a natter or a beer, might be best to turn up a little earlier, 3, 3.15, something like that.

    Yes, best to bring ID.

    Passport or (plastic) Driving Licence will suffice.

    Hi Cheezy
    It might be worth trying to win another seat if you can. I (and particularly Madprof, SidV79, HANSON, Roseeeeee, and the gang) usually need a 2nd Bullet, that you can use if you bust out early, particularly useful if you get a 'Bad Beat', (WARNING:you will hear a lot of those stories! ), or use on Day 1b to get a bigger stack, and you can carry the seat over to future SPT's should you have a really good Day 1a and not need to use it.

    GOOD LUCK in Glasgow Cheezy, but more than anything else, enjoy the FUN :)

    OR get a if an ok'ish stack through on day1 use the second bullet on Day 2 to play more aggressively to try to build up a BIG stack....People who know much better than me say if you can get 100k+ through it maybe worth saving any additional seats

    Thanks folks expectations are low whatever happens happens it is another tick off the bucket list and im more mr sheen than charlie sheen so i know i will enjoy it

    the alea you can walk in with out id. although last time i was in, was told to sign up get 10% of bar bill using it 1st time something like that any way.

    I think the problem is yes, you can walk in without signing in, but if you win a lump of money it then gets a bit awkward. It's best to be safe & take ID imo.
