Predator Main

The winner @extraman - Norman - has been here for ever, & used to be a Luton regular back in the day, maybe still is. He cashed in SPT Swansea at Aspers all the way back in 2010. Not sure I've ever seen Norman when he was not smiling, lovely fella & the very sort of Client Sky Poker cherish.

Darsum in 2nd is highly rated, as of course is @scotty77 in 4th.

I don'y know much about 5th placed @yourmum121, except that it's a curious alias & got me wondering what it meant. You will be fascinated to know - well maybe mildly interested - that Sky Poker has a dozen players with the alias yourmum with a variety of suffixes, perhaps yourmum69 being the most intriguing. Perhaps that's her age.

@extraman 1045000 1 £854.29 + £321.95 Head Prizes 7

@darsum333 0 2 £512.57 + £218.02 Head Prizes 9

@SQUIDGER 0 3 £313.50 + £103.75 Head Prizes 6

@scotty77 0 4 £246.10 + £26.72 Head Prizes 1

@yourmum121 0 5 £210.04 + £108.47 Head Prizes 8

@Sicoe77 0 6 £176.81 + £140.97 Head Prizes 9

In the close but no cigar department were @HAYSIE (7th), @Itsover4u (9th) & @RUNITSRANN (10th)

Not far behind were @MynaFrett (14th) showing signs of a return to form, @cpfc_2010 (16th) & @mkgunner (17th).

At the head of this update, I mentioned Aspers Swansea, which is sadly no more, as it closed in 2012. There was some goss suggesting it might re-open, but in 2014 Swansea City Council banned new Casino openings, along with "sex entertainment venues" (whatever that means) as they felt such premises continued to austerity.

Mention of sex entertainment venues reminds me that in Las Vegas these are known as "Gentleman's Clubs", a rather odd way of describing the clientele of such establishments.

Don't think I've heard of any "Ladies Clubs" though. Your reporter will stop at nothing to research these matters for you though, so I googled "Ladies Clubs" & this photo came up;

    Predator Mini

    Rather oddly, this missed Guarantee by a handful of runners after that huge field on Tuesday. It's really hard to understand why the numbers ebb & flow so.

    Top of the Mini pile was @sadierose, with Liverpool fan @ynwa197525 2nd. Think there are in excess of 20 "ynwa" prefixes on Sky Poker.

    The eye-catching result was third-placed @fredsgirl who, as far as I can see, has not frequented the Forum recently, which is a shame.

    @sadierose 772000 1 £261.34 + £57.46 Head Prizes 9

    @ynwa197525 0 2 £152.15 + £38.68 Head Prizes 8

    @fredsgirl 0 3 £92.11 + £31.14 Head Prizes 8

    @MHP30 0 4 £73.69 + £34.90 Head Prizes 6

    @koodoo22 0 5 £62.10 + £16.74 Head Prizes 5

    @daddygaga 0 6 £50.61 + £10.33 Head Prizes 5

    Not much else to report really, except that our learned friend @EvilPingu finished 385th of 386.

    44 runners & 6 rebuys for this, so it cruised past it's Guarantee by 25%.

    Couple of talking points here.

    First up, winner @darsum333 did so despite only taking 2 Head Prizes, which is neat.

    Secondly, the winner was gaining consolation for finishing runner-up in the Main, & the same, to a lesser extent applies to @scotty77, 4th in the Main & 2nd in this.

    @darsum333 250000 1 £462.50 + £110.50 Head Prizes 2

    @scotty77 0 2 £275 + £125.24 Head Prizes 3

    @peiratis88 0 3 £187.50 + £204.19 Head Prizes 6

    @macca710 0 4 £137.50 + £135.94 Head Prizes 6

    @f3nix35 0 5 £100 + £71.78 Head Prizes 3

    @dewy30 0 6 £87.50 + £60.94 Head Prizes 3

    @IrishRose had the double delight of a Head Prize and finishing one spot ahead of Villain Bates.

    Can anyone name the connection between Villain Bates & this man?

    Quickdraw

    A very pleasing 39 runners for this. It eems to swing between 23 & 40, which is all rather odd.

    Good win by @Tonyzya, beating off @jubb & @Herbie356.

    @Tonyzya 195000 1 £390 + £360.93 Head Prizes 9

    @jubb 0 2 £243.75 + £18.75 Head Prizes 1

    @Herbie536 0 3 £146.25 + £150 Head Prizes 6

    @Wilton52 0 4 £107.25 + £56.25 Head Prizes 3

    @RUNITSRANN 0 5 £87.75 + £65.63 Head Prizes 3

    @POKEOFFU 0 6 £51.56 Head Prizes 2

    Some big hitters were amongst the first dozen to depart, including @cpfc_2010 @scotty77 @BrayCorp83 @Kerrnal @luckme002 @Itsover4u @SenorBegs & Villain Bates.

    @Tikay10 I think you are being very kind calling me a big hitter compared to the names mentioned!

    @Kerrnal

    Anyone who has played over 32,000 MTT's here is a big-hitter in my book. If you multiply 32,000 by your average buy-in, that's a big number by any standards.

    @Tikay10 I suppose when you put it that way , trying to be positive about your game is often difficult I find.
