Great news yesterday, @glencoelad who we see regularly at the Sky Poker Tables & Live events, made the Final of the Irish Open Seniors yesterday.


George - @glencoelad - is the grey haired Gent in Seat 4, in the light coloured top.

    Tough Final that, with several other familiar faces there - JJ Hazan (seat 6), John Duthie (Seat 7) & Joe Beevers (Seat 8).

    I don't have the Prize money to hand, but I believe this was the finishing order.

    I'm not 100% sure on this, but I believe it ended with a 4 way ICM chop, with JJ Hazan getting the trophy. If so, George was the joint winner.

    Great work George, made up for you.

    Here's George at the bar at the Irish Poker Open, evidently enjoying himself.

    The Gent in the spectacles is a right character & good friend of mine, Paul Spillane. Those with good memories will know he ran 6th at the SPT Grand Final in Manchester in November. That man has a few stories to tell....

    Thanks for the kind words TK , it was an ICM chop as getting
    a bit late for us seniors. I got 4K and loved the game .
    Such a great time , and the bonus was the good lady Dameflop
    had won a package ( as she does ).
    Caught up with sky player enders , top gent .
    Just home now and right on to the games ...take care 👍
