Right to fold here?

£5.50 BH. On the bubble. I'm 5/13 and there are 2 shortstacks on 3.5k each. First time villain has 3b shoved on me. Is the fold correct given the circumstances? If so then what hands are you calling with here?

    It's a call for me. I don't think he is likely to be doing that with QQ-AA against your stack, although you never know. More likely to be AK and mid pairs. The min cash in this is likely to be just a bit more than the buy-in I guess, so you probably aren't too worried about that, but obviously want to cash. Making the call and assuming it is AK I am happy to take on the race and either go out or double up and be in a great position to get a top 3 finish, as that hand would probably make you chip leader.

    I am probably only calling 99+ and AK against his bigger stack in this spot.

    For me, it would be a call depending on your aim for the tournament. If your goal would be to at least cash, then you could argue its a fold but 12BB in a tourney with JJs should be an insta call as there shoving range will include hands you are beating.

    I had 22 bigs after the raise. I dunno, it was the fact there were 2 shorties on 5bb and it was the first time I had seen villain 3b. I almost called then then time bar ran out, I was very close.

    Think its a call for me. On the bubble if Im putting a raise in pre then I like my hand enough to commit to calling a shove. Although I can understand why you folded and maybe thats why I bubble so often.

    Its a clear ICM fold but depends how much you care about that with the min cash being quite small. Without ICM its a great spot for a big stack which will allow you to cover more players for bounties and to potentially take down the tournament.

    Personally id call AQ+ 1010+ so I would call here.
