    Hi @buzzer57

Nobody on the Forum can "check out your last hand" as you have not posted it.

Post the hand history & I'm sure it will generate comment.

Ps - what does "80 30 all the way" mean?

There really ought to be spelling and punctuation criteria before posts are allowed.

Please God this is not another "I was miles in front until Sky rigged the river" moan. You gotta understand that some are flips and others 60 / 50 or 70 / 40 and even 90 / 20 loses.

    Yours in fun

80/30 is that even a notable bad beat??
Try set Aces on AK3 vs 76o to go runner-runner on ya then come back ..and if it happens 10 times in a row I'll support you approaching the newspapers with a possible scandal, meantime just accept 80/30 probs losing a quarter of the time - you are entitled to feel frustrated but just keep getting in that good! Maybe chill and look back at the bad beats you laid calling pot on the flop with and under pair? 88v44 that's a 90/10 gone wrong right there.. :D

I'm still getting my head around an "80/30".

    Presumably a flip is now a 55/55.

Assumed 80/30 includes splits?? Polishing my maths up still but was sure that didn't add up to 100?? Does this mean I have to waste another hour of my life playing with online hand v hand equity calculators trying to find an example :/ Oh well will give me something to do as I fold fold fold in 830 1kFR.. just donked out the 730 stacking off KJo to big stack bully 3 betting AI (again) with AKs (this time grrrrrr....)

    No.

It ALWAYS adds up to 100%, including splits. An 80/30 is impossible.

Here, have a play with this - for example, put in, say, 10-10 v 10-10.

    https://www.cardplayer.com/poker-tools/odds-calculator/texas-holdem

It'll say a 95.65% chance of a tie, and each of the 2 hands has a 2.17% chance of winning.

    95.65 + 2.17 + 2.17 = 100%. (excluding rounding).

Cheers Tikay, been playing 10 years and don't know basic stuff like this OMG.
Now I've put my brain back in it makes sense, how can two players share more than 100% of the equity in the pot LOL. Some chips appear from somewhere?

    Must have a note you're nitty! :p

Anyways I like my line, only need 10% fold equity as we 65/45 ;) haha nh

That's just the warm up (though hands happened in opposite order - struggled with HH unusually B) ), proper beat to follow when I find HH this guy was Golden..

..oh and "Action River" to make sure every penny was going to go in to keep the conspiracy theorists happy :open_mouth:

Re: And you thought PLO was an Action Game!!

And who'd have thought it four flush board again with Ace on the river again I would have been holding trips this time instead of a set with the other better Ace actually out there. This time with one Ace left in the deck that's a 17,296:1 to 1 that board by my reckoning

..anyways on to the main course, you ordered an 83/17 as a starter, followed by a 97/3 and runner-runner for dessert Sir?..

    God == 95s!

Ran like GOD herself to yo-yo around 300+BB deep and got coolered QQ KK later on after continuing to smash boards with any 2 and actually picked a few premo's up on top of that to get paid!

To be fair to Bants, he was good fun, magnanimous in victory, gracious in defeat and admitted he'd had a couple :)
