Who won what on Monday.

Steady rather than spectacular numbers last night, with the Guarantees being beaten by 18%. There is a standard cycle in Online Poker, or any online gaming, which peaks at the monthly payday, then gradually tails off until it spikes again the next payday, so at this time of the month, numbers will rarely be stellar.

More generally, August has been a decent month right across the site.

    £6,000 Marksman (£6,780)

The winner earlier played a Freeroll & then the £1 Forum Triple Takedown, no good in either, then went and won the Main Event for £1,130. I suspect he loves poker.

Quite puzzled by the spelling of "ceticbhoy" in 6th. "bhoy" is often appended to the aliases of Celtic fans of course, but is "cetic" a typo, or does it have a meaning I'm not aware of?

    £1,500 Mini-Marksman (£1,870)

whale01 took the win, and ChelseaAA maybe got some consolation after Chelsea were given a proper spanking up at Old Trafford on Sunday.

@lolufold was at SPT Brighton last week. We saw each other briefly when we arrived, shook hands etc, then I never saw him again.

    £2,000 Sheriff (£2,400)

GFYSYFF, playing just his third MTT in August, took the win. Not sure what those initials might stand for. I worked out what GFY might mean & thought it probably best if I stopped there.

2nd to 5th inclusive was a real bunch of Mean Machines, not really the sort of players you want to meet on a Final Table, no disrespect intended of course.

    £1,000 Quickdraw (£1,350)

Quickdraw, as so often, was dominated by heavy-hitters, with the added novelty of a Father-Son combo, which is quite rare.

I think you can only have an screen name of 9 letters/numbers, so guessed he left the L out to get it all in and be semi readable/understandable lol

Possibly, but in the same final we had, for example, dryiceaj27, and in Sheriff loololollo & HenryHippo, all of which are 10 characters.

    Not possible then lol.

Looks like Celticbhoy is already taken, so he has done the next best thing haha

Yes, and no points for guessing who knocked me out.

I don't know, kids, no respect for their parents these days. :D

    Thanks for these updates @Tikay10
