First the numbers, which were ever so slightly better last night, with the Big 4 beating the aggregate Guarantees by 10%. This was despite the Main missing, though to be fair, it only missed by....ONE entry. Ooh.
The surprise, to me, was the Rewards Freeroll, with 885 entries. I mean, 885 is decent, yes, but with the added value every night of over £1,100 worth of UKOPS seats, in addition to the £500 Cash Prize Pool, I had expected more. At 900 runners, it is worth about £1.77 per player. That's crazy value, nearly £2 per head.
And last night's remarkable feat? Read on.

Good to see EBBERDON take down the Main, he's often there or thereabouts, & he's been here forever. We often see him at SPT's, but he was not at Notts unless I missed seeing him. He gained entry via a £1.80 All-In Satellite, too. Not a bad ROI to turn £1.80 into over £1,100.
We did see runner-up thisltedu aka Donald at Notts, and I'm not blowing smoke up any orifices to say he's universally liked & respected, a genuinely lovely man.
WOW1tsANDY continued his fine run, 4th this time.

I did a double-take when I saw who win this. Had I copied the wrong link? Duesenberg won this on Tuesday, & then won it again last night. I expect it's been done before, back to back Minis, but I don't recall it.There were 442 runners on Tuesday, & 376 last night, so if poker were pure luck, the chances of that double were ~173,000/1. It's not all luck of course, far from it, but even if we assumed that Duesenberg's ability was 50% above average, it's still an extraordinary thing. Think of how many flips you need to win to achieve back to back wins. It's quite a complex equation, but winning 10 even money flips in succession is over 1,000 to 1.
Whatever way you look at it, back to back wins in the Mini is quite extraordinary.
Very well done @Duesenberg. Now really impress us all, & make it 3 on the bounce. Then we'll have to start calling you Mike Postle.
Kudos also go to @dameflop in 4th, that's Mrs @glencoelad.

paul10 took this, we don't see his name too often, but he cashed 3 times in UKOPS last Christmas, including winning UKOPS 24.
Some serious names made the Final, with ozzieowen 2nd, The Bates 3rd, TIMER (who was at SPT Notts) 4th & DunkinFish, doing so well lately, 6th.

Rewards Freeroll (885 entries)
Great to see @Doylebrun snag a UKOPS High Roller seat. Think he'll really enjoy playing that, & if he gets the rub of the green, he could go really deep & pick up a nice few bob.Well done also to @Del560 who collected a UKOPS Main Event seat.
Very pleased to see 2 of the Daily Forum Comp regulars pick up UKOPS seats. The more the merrier.
Deep runs were noted by WHATTHEFUX & 4kingdonk. Quite so, quite so.
A particularly worthy effort by @Jac35 too, in 860th place.

The Main has been won back to back a few times, but that's several magnitudes easier, as it has far fewer runners. (Should that be far less runners? Always worry about "less" & "few").
It's one of those grammatical oddities I always struggle with.
I had been thinking about taking tonight off but it seems silly to not have a pop a potentially bonkers hat-trick
