Who won what on Saturday, includes Final Table Jackpot near-miss.

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 161,268

Much better evening, with Big 4 Prize Pools beating Guarantees by a healthy if unspectacular 14%.

We also had a Final Table Jackpot near miss, with a player running 3rd in the Main & winning the Mini.

Don't forget that tonight (Sunday) there is another Semi-Final for next week's SPT Grand Final in Manchester.

    £8,000 Sharpshooter (£8,340)

    Boom31 last graced these threads when he won a Xmas 2017 UKOPS. He does not seem to win big very often, but when he does... BOOM.

    Runner-up was jimmytoon, who was in Vegas with us this year after he won an SPT Las Vegas seat. Fun bloke.

    CCKeenan, 3rd here, was also 3rd in a Turbo BH UKOPS on October 26th.

    @BOOM31 2780000 1 £1105.05 + £299.56 Head Prizes 9

    @jimmytoon 0 2 £658.86 + £161.76 Head Prizes 5

    @CCKeenan 0 3 £396.15 + £265.78 Head Prizes 12

    @Transbet72 0 4 £312.75 + £109.91 Head Prizes 7

    @LiamRynn 0 5 £264.80 + £187.62 Head Prizes 10

    £2,000 Mini Sharpshooter (£2,510)

    Well well well, as well as running 3rd in the Main, CCKeenan won the Mini so picks up a very handy £1,500 bonus. The Main finished AFTER the Mini of course, so when he was 3 handed in the Main there must have been a very weird dynamic with the prospect of an extra 5 large if he could book the win. £1,500 is nice, very nice, but it's one of those spots where the player is bound to think "if only....". The human mind is a weird & wonderful thing.

    3rd was PedagogBen. The "ped" prefix has a Greek root & usually refers to feet (pedestrian, pedicure, pedal etc) but in this case it means teacher or method of teaching. I knew that already of course. Or maybe I just googled it.

    @CCKeenan 5020000 1 £313.75 + £101.28 Head Prizes 16

    @gingerice 0 2 £175.70 + £37.41 Head Prizes 11

    @PedagogBen 0 3 £103.66 + £38.07 Head Prizes 8

    @lundie 0 4 £82.20 + £6.74 Head Prizes 1

    @Jimhill93 0 5 £69.03 + £10.23 Head Prizes 3

    @dannico 0 6 £55.85 + £42.89 Head Prizes 12

    £2,000 Sheriff (£2,650)

    I wish I could tell you what "lwwl" means, but I can't. Probably Welsh for Smith or somesuch.

    2nd was mumahumpa, last sighted when 3rd in Sheriff back in August.

    GREGSTER, in 4th, had a couple of cashes in the recent UKOPS, whilst Lord Crush seems to have a couple of cashes every night. He'll be at SPT Manchester, & I'm going to book some lessons with him.

    @lwwl 265000 1 £490.25 + £376.93 Head Prizes 8

    @mumahumpa 0 2 £291.50 + £112.49 Head Prizes 4

    @leftarmove 0 3 £198.75 + £150.01 Head Prizes 6

    @GREGSTER 0 4 £145.75 + £43.36 Head Prizes 2

    @PlayRim 0 5 £106 + £126.57 Head Prizes 6

    @loololollo 0 6 £92.75 + £107.82 Head Prizes 5

    £1,000 Quickdraw (£1,300)

    Mostly the usual suspects, though I'm more used to seeing 5th placed sara36dd08 in DYM's. "sara" has a quite unusual & very distinctive playing style.

    @Vince_107 130000 1 £325 + £205.55 Head Prizes 4

    @MikeyW94 0 2 £195 + £157.33 Head Prizes 7

    @jubb 0 3 £130 + £28.13 Head Prizes 1

    @longjob 0 4 £37.50 Head Prizes 2

    @sara36dd08 0 5 £48.05 Head Prizes 2

    @MattBates 0 6 £42.19 Head Prizes 2

    Yes, was a good night last night! It definitely made for an intense hour or so!!

    Do we know when the £1,500 gets credited to my account?

    Cheers,

    @CCKeenan

    Yes, I can imagine things got a little exciting when you were 3 handed in the final of the Main.

    I don't think it will be credited today, as they first have to verify it, in case there has been any hanky-panky. Not personal, just standard drill. So far more likely to be tomorrow (Monday) morning. Just look in your account for "Manual Transfer", I expect it will be there before Noon tomorrow.

    Very well done bud.

    Well done on the Jackpot bonus @CCKeenan . Very well played.

    However, as it was a 'turbo' night, the MINI finished AFTER the Main, of course ;)
