Who won what on Sunday March 15th

Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 160,264

The trend of the last few days continued last night, with the prize pools for the so-called Big 6, which included the £12k Sunday Major & £6k BH, for which the Guarantees amounted to £24,000, coming in 44% higher at £34,550.

It's a very odd moral situation. Folks are losing their jobs, people are ill, & the population is generally scared, & rightly so. Meanwhile, Online Poker is booming. Hard to know what to think or say.

£6,000 BH £9,360

£12,000 Sunday Major £16,400

£2,000 Mini Major £2,790

£2,000 Sheriff £3,250

£1,000 Quickdraw £1,550

£1,000 Midnight Ex £1,200

    £6,000 Bounty Hunter (£9,360)

This was the highest Prize Pool the £6k BH has ever achieved, I imagine, & fish369 booked the win, playing his first MTT this month & only 5th this year. Great timing, Mr Fish.

The much larger than usual first prize of £4,510 went to The_Sweede, which was quite a turnip.

Runner-up was GagginKs, playing his first MTT here of 2020, in fact since the Xmas 2019 UKOPS Main Event.

@Doooobs who does so well in this just missed the FT, but I'd have thought £640 was a reasonable consolation.

Every few days someone comes on the Forum & bellyaches that Sky Poker have "favoured players". If I said what I thought about these guys making the complaints, I'd be insta-sacked, so I say nothing, but it is very sad that folks think in such a way. Two of those often accused of "favoured status" are The Bates & Groggs, & note that on the biggest Roller in yonks they both effectively cash-bubbled, just ahead of Alvez & PBKR. I'm sure Team Tin Hat will have some ridiculously plausible explanation for that.

    Hi Tikay,

I am not a regular on these forums nor am I much of a regular on Sky these days so I could maybe give a hopefully objective viewpoint on what you are addressing here.

Having been to one or two Live Sky Tourneys I would not say I have particularly enjoyed the social experience. I have also had others say they have had a similar experience. There are a few reasons why this could be the case of course.

Close friends and family would describe myself as a straight shooter and will always offer the advise I believe to be true.

Being to a few countries and speaking to a variety of people from different walks of life the experience is not one I excel in.

I believe you are addressing two points here which are not mutually exclusive.

Overall, the Sky forums and chat are very well managed and have enjoyed the online experience very much. These threads are also a very good read.

I will not reply or deal with any PM's about this matter. Thought I would simply offer up
    another viewpoint.

    Namaste!

With apologies to your favourite nephew Matt Bates I borrowed the favoured RNG button for this tournament but will be sending it back to him and the other favoured players in the post very shortly. Or then again I may hold on to it for a little while longer, cheers your long lost other nephew Chris.

Is this your way of saying you're the guy on the table who calls out weaker players when they make a bad play?

    @Cammykaze

Respectful greetings to you too Mr Kaze.

I'm not quite clear what the thrust of that means, but no matter.

I'm certainly a little sad that you never enjoyed the SPT's. I understand of course that if a relative "stranger" comes along & does not know anyone personally it must feel like the "in crowd" from which you are excluded. When I get the chance to talk to a SPT newbie I always spend a little time introducing them to a few friendly faces, & that usually does the job.

Still, it's good to hear you enjoy the Forum, & the Results Threads. The threads don't get much feedback - completely understandably, they are really "read only" for most, but it's always good to hear people enjoy them.
