The especially stupid one: Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho faces police warning after organising a training session for three of his players in a London park

Footage has emerged of Tottenham Hotspur stars ignoring social-distancing rules by meeting up and training side-by-side in north London - in a session that was reportedly arranged by manager Jose Mourinho. A video appeared on social media on Tuesday afternoon which appeared to show defender Davinson Sanchez and Ryan Sessegnon jogging side by side on Hadley Common. According to Dan Kilpatrick, the session has not gone down well with Tottenham. Sanchez, Sessegnon and Tanguy Ndombele all live locally with the trio and Mourinho all having been reminded about social distancing guidelines.

    Yet another example of privilege thinking that the rules don't apply to them.

    People who think they are above the rest deserve our complete contempt.

    No. They are not especially stupid.

    I know they are role models. But they are educationally not equipped to deal with matters as complex as this. Much like the Daily Mail is ill-equipped to provide balanced news coverage.

    If we must talk about football, answer me this. Which is more important in relation to a global pandemic;

    1. 3 footballers and a Manager being 1 metre apart, as opposed to 2; or
    2. Another footballer (Son) being allowed to fly back to south korea, do a few weeks National service, and then fly back?

    On a similar note. Why is it when footballers go within 2 metres it is national news. When the Scottish Chief Scientist goes to her holiday home it is national news.

    But when, in the first week of the "Daily updates", when it was blindingly obvious that the daily 3, including our Chief Scientist, were all standing within 2 metres of 1 another (as they were saying we all need to self distance), no-one says a thing. Even when our PM and other Government Ministers catch the virus. And still no-one says a thing. No-one else noted how much further apart everyone stands now?

    I agree; they used to think they were 'above it all'...till they caught it!

    I thought the most interesting propaganda move of the week was when Matt Hancock was asked " Why have you had a Covid 19 test and not just self isolated like you asked us to do?" The BBC cut out and went to the weather..

    TBF ( for the record I can't stand Moanrinho) it could be argued that they were just doing their 1 hours excercise?

    Agree it looks like a social group of 2 or more? 8 as Moanrinho would count himself at least as significant as 5 humans

    its the first time this season that they've had a tight knit midfield lol. Usually you can drive a coach and four through it.
