Lisa-Marie actually WINS a tourney. How?

Miss Plop herself actually WON a real Poker Tournament on Monday!

It was a charity jobbie, with half the Prize Pool going to Charity, & the "I have A-J -  I CALL" specialist netted £600.

Unbelievable.

I believe there were three runners, one of whom was Orford.

Say no more.

Actually I made the last two tables.*

*At the time of going to press, we cannot confirm or deny that there were only four tables at the start of the tournament.

But well done LM. I also crushed my table in the first half of the tournament, I mean seriously romped it, but made a schoolboy error when I limped in under the gun with pocket aces, expecting a raise round the back and instead let in the big blind with his MASSIVE 7-2 off-suit.

    Flop came 2-2-7.

Grrrr. That was the moment when it all started to go very, very wrong...

I must correct that scandalous assertion. I was elsewhere, at Luton, winning a PROPER poker Tourney. You know, with PROPER poker players. Lisa "forgot" to invite me. Running scared, I'd say.

I have seen Miss Plop this morning. I offered her a position in Team tikay for TKO III as 23rd-in-charge, she seemed keen, though never gave a firm answer.

Orford has also been offered a role in Team tikay, too, as 936th in charge. He thought it was a compliment, as he's yet to be on a winning TKO Team.

I thought it was an accusation, even an allegation.....not sure about assertion though. Anyway, this proper players you played with then.......did they include that shark tormenting geezer and that dealer bashing geezer you have spoke about on here?. TBH, i would prefer to have a game with Rich and lisa anyday. Safe, innit.

Lol, no, Sharky was not present on Monday.

The "dealer-bashing" guy? - Ali Mallu - no, he was not present either. I must stress, he did not "bash the dealer". His fist accidentally collided with the dealers face, you know how it is.

Interestingly, the cause of the inadvertent collision was something that's been discussed on this Forum several times - "protecting your hand/cards". Ali was in Seat 1, THE most likely Seat for the Dealer to accidentally muck your cards, & that's what happened. Ali tried to retrieve them from the muck, the Dealer prevented him from so doing, & then that accidental collision occurred, after some shouty-wouty-stuff. It's easily done. He's a reformed character now, & I actually like him very much. I try to avoid mucking his cards though. I'm too pretty to be hit.
