Played wrong on every street???

I,m trying to improve my MTT game but have never really looked at hand historys so decided to start now and try and learn something new.
Just gonna test post this hand history to see if i,ve done it correctly

I knew by the river i played this badly but how badly?
My opponent was quick to tell me i had played this hand wrong on every street. Although i don,t like getting berated at the tables for my play they have a point on this hand.

It was from a £5.50 MTT last night.
It folds round to me on the SB and i,m sat with 24 BB,s and 67s
The guy on BB has been fairly aggro with me and i,m half expecting a raise so i just limp thinking my hand plays well post flop and certainly don,t want to get shoved on.
I get the raise (to 2.4k - Min raise) and maybe should shove here but just call
Flop comes 982 rainbow with 1 spade.
I check and face a bet of 4.8k which i call . Should i have shoved?
Turn comes 9 of spades and i check with the intention of shoving any bet and hopefully getting a fold which happens but don,t get the fold. Think i had him on 2 ovecards.
I get lucky on river but know i,ve not played it well.
Any advice muchly appreciated

Starting to see the light side of it and tend to get involved in the chat box a smidgen more.
The "Coach" is one that springs to mind. Steveysee I am not too familiar with.

I'd personally raise this from the sb pre flop and be happy to pick up the pot when the big blind has the bottom 50% of hands. Happy folding to a 3-bet at this stack depth as the suited connectors lose a lot of value when shorter stacked. For example, if you hit your flush on the river you probably won't have many chips left to win a decent amount.
As played with the limp I would call the Big Blind raise and I can get behind check raising flop. Check folding would be the only terrible option here. As played, when you call the 9 is good for your range so you could just lead and put him in a bad spot or check shove. Basically, you have one of the strongest draws and best bluffs so getting it in is never going to be bad here.
Finally, just be careful if there are ICM implications. Wouldn't be a good spot to go bust with a draw if other players are shorter than you and there are big pay jumps. If this was the case I'd play it much more passively, except for pre flop where I'd just try to raise and take it down.

I don't mind check/jamming flop.
But whatever way you played it.... if you've beat steveysee in a hand, you've played it wrong
