Who won what, Sunday 19th July

Morning.

Fun times last night when the Online WSOP "Opener" on GG Poker was interrupted multi-times during Day 2 due to a "critical software bug", before eventually being postponed until next week. Players were compensated, but - in shock news - most were unhappy. One comedian tagged Joe Ingram suggesting he started a "deep-dive investigation to stop these bugs from happening". Yup, that'll sure stop them. It then descended from the mere comedic to the utterly bizarre when the fella came up with the idea that some online poker sites only exist for one reason - to make profit. Who'd have thought?

Meanwhile, back at base, a slightly better night at Sky Poker. Nothing covered by much, one came in bang on the number, & Mega Stack missed by exactly 2 entries, or £40. Overall, think Sky would have settled for that before the evening's play commenced. Incidentally, in one of those chicken & egg situations, the Mini Major guarantee was reduced from £3,000 to £2,500 & it came in right on the number.

£8,000 BH £8,130

£15,000 Sunday Major £15,200

£2,500 Mini Major £2,500

£1,500 Mega £1,500

£2,500 Sheriff £2,550

£2,000 Turbo £2,520

£1,500 Quickdraw £1,600

£1,500 Mid Ex £1,520

    £8,000 Bounty Hunter (£8,130)

Not too many surprises at the make up of this FT, with heavy-hitter Sharki0 eventually grabbing the top spot.

The real surprise was Jac35 in 7th, it's unlikely he has ever run that deep in an MTT this big. All in all, quite a day for him, as Derby County played Leeds United earlier. Anyone know how that went?

    £15,000 Sunday Major (£15,200)

lolufold takes down the Sunday Major, & not for the first time I suspect.

tai-gar in 3rd for £1,383 was an eye-opener, & I hope that's taken in the intended spirit. He spent his evening mixing Freerolls with a £110-er which makes for a really unusual cocktail. Well done bud, that's a really great score.

    £2,500 Mini Major (£2,500)

This went to GunRood1, who took down one of last month's Escalating Freerolls.

5th was miniman, & in 6th MAXALLY completed a good day the highlight of which was that rarest of things, a Stoke City win.

Exiting on the bubble was Red_King, who won his seat in the Daily Forum Comp, & whilst he failed to cash it seems like he had a good sweat.

    £1,500 Mega Stack B/Hunter (£1,500)

RogueCell, MIA for the past week, returned in style.

Remarkably, Jac35, who finalled Mid Ex the previous night, made another FT, he's becoming something of a dab hand at MTT's.

This went the way of Super_Oli, to complete a decent weekend which began with victory in Friday's £8,000 BWBH.

Proper hot FT this, with TommyD, who is absolutely smashing this week's Elininator Freerolls, in 6th.

Maybe my morning coffees kicking in but just felt the need to say thanks Tikay for these lovely written summaries - hope to be on a few in near future and here's to a day we can say thanks in person at an event - thanks again sir

Well, i’d have to disagree with that totally
It just seems a chance for him to be unpleasant about people who post on the forum

I feel very grumpy and this is an unusual feeling for me

Love the summaries. I think Tikay is clearly trying to joke with the forum. As with all forms of written comminication you can't see the glint in the eye, but knowing Tikay it is always there.

I should feel grumpy, given I didn't even win a solitary bounty last night, but feeling pretty good. I'd be happier if I ran well enough to get a roasting in the daily thread mind
